These Dollar Tree Finds Were NEVER Meant to Look Like $750 Neiman Marcus Christmas Decor! 😳🎄

I saw the price tag on this gorgeous Christmas centerpiece and knew there HAD to be a way to recreate the look for a fraction of the cost! So I headed to Dollar Tree, grabbed a few items, and got creative.

Who knew ordinary things could become something so extraordinary?!

I found 7 incredibly creative DIY home decor ideas on Pinterest that completely transform everyday items into something Unique!

Which one would YOU try making?
I have made doilies into bowls, paint stick diy home decor, and decoupaged sea shells but never made a wreath!! That boot is my favorite though!!

This Looks EXPENSIVE… But It Started at Dollar Tree! 😳

I love high-end decor without the high-end price tag! Sometimes the most ordinary Dollar Tree finds can turn into something that looks like it came straight out of a boutique.

These are not something I grab at Dollar Tree ever!! But, I'm absolutely shocked how these turned out when I did!

Here's a Little DIY Inspiration... 🎨

Who says a grapevine door basket has to stay a door basket? I turned mine upside down and transformed it into this whimsical little birdhouse! 🐦

Here's how I made it!

1. The Base: I flipped a grapevine door basket upside down and attached it to a sturdy base.

2. The Inside: I added floral foam and moss inside the basket to help fill it out and create that natural woodland look.

3. The Birdhouse Opening: I covered an oval wooden piece with pretty floral fabric to create the illusion of a little birdhouse entrance.

4. The Roof: I cut up an old yard stake to create the roof and added a little lace along the edges for a sweet vintage touch.

5. Putting It Together: I used Titebond Quick & Thick and hot glue to secure everything in place.

6. The Finishing Touches: A little greenery, moss, and a few whimsical embellishments brought the whole thing to life!

I love taking something that was intended for one purpose and turning it into something completely unexpected. Sometimes the best DIYs start with simply looking at an old item differently!

What would you have made with an old grapevine basket?

I started ceramic painting when I was about 7 or 8 years old, and I've loved painting ever since.

One of my favorite things has always been blending colors to create depth and bring something to life. I especially love creating furniture art, but creativity doesn't always have to be complicated or elaborate.

Sometimes, a small canvas, a few colors, and a paintbrush are all you need to slow down and enjoy a little peace.

When I paint, I don't worry about perfection. I focus on the calm I find in every brushstroke. 🎨

Did you know that painting can actually help calm and regulate your nervous system?

The repetitive movement of your brush, the gentle focus on blending colors, and the act of creating can help shift your attention away from stress and into the present moment.

This kind of mindful activity may help lower stress, ease muscle tension, and encourage a more relaxed state.

And one of my favorite things about painting? You don't have to be good at it to benefit from it.

Sometimes, creating something beautiful isn't even the point. Sometimes, it's simply about how you feel while you're creating it.

When was the last time you picked up a paintbrush just for yourself?

Here's a Little DIY Inspiration... ✨

Who knew a few Dollar Tree finds could turn into such a beautiful little centerpiece? And the best part? You can decorate it for any season!

Here's how I made it!

Supplies:

- Dollar Tree wood bead wreath
- Dollar Tree round wood plaque
- Dollar Tree angels (for the riser feet)
- Rust-Oleum Satin Brown spray paint
- Wood glue
- Drill
- Decorative accents of your choice

Let's create!

1. Create the handle: Cut your wood bead wreath down to the size you want for your centerpiece.
2. Prepare the base: Drill two holes into the round wood plaque where the ends of your wreath will attach.
3. Attach the handle: Insert the ends of your wood bead wreath into the drilled holes to secure it to the base.
4. Add the feet: Use wood glue to attach the Dollar Tree angels underneath your plaque to create little riser feet.
5. Paint: Spray paint your assembled piece with Rust-Oleum Satin Brown for a beautiful, rich finish.
6. Decorate: I added a little greenery, flowers, a decorative nest, and a flameless candle, but you can style yours however you'd like!

One simple project, endless decorating possibilities! Change out the florals and accents for every season!

Here's a Little DIY Inspiration!

Who would've thought a couple of Dollar Tree wood pieces could turn into this beautiful little decorative shelf? I love finding unexpected ways to use inexpensive supplies to create something that looks a little more high-end!

And this one is surprisingly simple to make!

Here's what I used:

- 1 large Dollar Tree wooden plaque
- 1 Dollar Tree wooden book
- 1 decorative wood applique from my website
The diy struggle
- Titebond Quick & Thick glue
- Hot glue
- Drill and screw
- White paint

Here's how I made it:

1. Start with your large wooden plaque. Attach the decorative wood applique near the top to give it a little extra character.
2. Take the Dollar Tree wooden book and position it horizontally toward the bottom of the plaque to create your shelf.
3. Use Titebond Quick & Thick along with hot glue to secure the pieces together. Helpful tip: Apply the two adhesives in separate areas rather than overlapping them. The hot glue helps hold everything in place while the Titebond dries.
4. For extra support, carefully drill a pilot hole through the back of the plaque where the shelf attaches, and secure the pieces together with a screw.
5. Paint everything white, let it dry, and decorate your new little shelf with your favorite lightweight treasures!

I love how something so simple can become a beautiful accent for a little corner of your home!

Here's a Little DIY Inspiration!

Who says a jewelry organizer has to be expensive?
Almost all of the supplies used for this came from Dollar Tree I took a few simple craft supplies and turned them into this adorable little jewelry holder that's both pretty and functional!

Here's how I made it:

Supplies:

- 1 Dollar Tree floral frame
- 1 Dollar Tree wooden crate
- Decorative metal sheet from Hobby Lobby
- Black paint
- Glue
- Scissors or metal snips

Let's put it together!

1. Paint the wooden crate and floral frame black. Let everything dry completely.
2. Cut a piece of decorative metal sheet to fit inside the opening of the floral frame.
3. Secure the metal sheet to the back of the frame. Those little openings are perfect for hanging earrings!
4. Attach the floral frame to the back of the wooden crate, creating a decorative upright jewelry holder.
5. Fill the crate with your favorite bracelets, necklaces, and other little treasures!

Now you have a cute little jewelry organizer that doubles as home decor!
