Bend Fall Festival, 2026, closed.
I’ve noticed I haven’t done a ton of Bend events this year. It would seem the place which taught me to love small towns is no longer a small town. So I gravitate to the edges. For those who don’t know I grew up in Bend. I’ve never left Central Oregon, lived here my whole life. Might be seen as a miss to some. I feel lucky. But as Bend has grown I find my comfort in the smaller areas, making deeper connections to community. 20 years ago I moved to La Pine and I love it. But Bend, this is where I learned local and you know I’m fiercely local. Being local doesn’t mean living here your whole life to me though. It means contributing to the community around you.
All this to say thank you Bend. I met many from out of town this weekend, as well as a few locals. But ultimately the biggest, most rewarding part of this event this year was my repeat customers. To find out that they bought my candles or car diffusers last year, two years ago, or it is now a family tradition to get a skull-from people visiting from the Bay Area, Arizona, Seattle…that’s local integrating into global. Creating a community with reach.
Well. That’s a wrap. This event has been a huge part of my growth and seeing this booth, where I’m at and how my brand has taken shape 🥰 I’m genuinely proud of me.
I look forward to Bend Fall Festival 2027. Until then 😘
