Pause a little longer to admire a new lens on the places you love most.

Through , our familiar mountain landscapes take on a whimsical reinterpretation - layered, textural, and full of personality. Whether she’s painting, printmaking, or experimenting with something entirely new, there’s always an intentionality and sense of place woven through her work.

What we admire most is how she keeps evolving. Evi never stays in one lane. She’s constantly exploring new mediums and new ways of bringing nature indoors.

Her latest exploration? Dried and pressed florals.

From taper candles wrapped in preserved blooms to delicate pressed flower jewelry, these pieces feel like little keepsakes from the wild - thoughtful, intricate, and unmistakably hers.

And if you’ve been wanting to create alongside her, there are still a few spots left for tonight’s Pressed Flower Necklace Workshop.

Tonight | 6-8PM | $75 per person

Come spend your evening making something beautiful or stop by to explore her collection in person!

It finally feels like winter. Snow on the ground, heavy skies, slower mornings. And yet there’s that subtle shift happening - the feeling that something is beginning to stir again.

A pull toward color, toward learning something new, toward doing something that’s just for you.

We’re leaning into that energy with a recurring watercolor workshop series led by Astrid Carolina of .art, kicking off tomorrow night.

Astrid teaches watercolor as a medium worth understanding. She focuses on how water actually behaves, how pigment settles, when to let it move and when to guide it. Each session blends technique with symbolism, so you’re not just making something pretty - you’re building skill while creating work that carries meaning.

We’ll gather every third Thursday from 6–8PM for our late winter and spring lineup:

2/19 - Watercolor Roses, exploring soft florals and sacred heart motifs while learning flowing washes and how to create delicacy without losing structure.

3/19 - Watercolor Butterflies, working with symmetry, color transitions, and pattern as we reflect on renewal and emergence.

4/16 - Power Animals, painting fur and feathers with controlled water technique while exploring instinct and protection through symbolism.

Each workshop stands alone, but together they offer a beautiful way to deepen your practice over time. They’re beginner-friendly while still offering real technique for those who want to grow.

Tomorrow’s class has a few seats left.

If you’ve been feeling that quiet nudge toward something creative, this might be it.

There’s something about a card made from actual handmade paper that just hits different.

Maybe it’s knowing that real hands shaped each sheet. That plants from the earth became the colors. That an old letterpress machine pressed each word into being, one at a time.

We just brought in a collection from .shop, a small studio where Loren Smith and her small team make cards the way most of us wish more things were made - slowly, intentionally, and with real care.

They call it “farm to card,” which feels exactly right. The paper is handmade. The colors come from botanicals. The printing is letterpress. Every step is done by hand in their Northern California studio, just down the road from their homestead.

We’re carrying their Valentine’s collection right now - plus other cards for gratitude, celebration, and those everyday moments when you just want someone to know you’re thinking of them.

These aren’t cards you send off quickly. They’re the kind that make you pause, sit down, and actually mean what you write. The kind worth keeping.
Come feel the texture of the paper, see the depth of the botanical dyes, and maybe pick one up for someone who deserves something this thoughtful.

P.S. We also have a complimentary card-making station set up in the shop all week if you want to create your own. All the supplies are here waiting for you.

With how heavy and uncertain things feel in the world right now, we’re leaning deeper into what we’ve always done: creating spaces where people can gather and reconnect with the simple things that make us human.

This space has always been about creativity, community, and care. We’ve intentionally worked to keep it welcoming to all and neutral when it comes to partisan politics.

But basic human rights are not political, or at least they shouldn’t be. And in moments like this, staying quiet simply doesn’t align with our values.

When the world feels unsettled, we return to what grounds us: making art, supporting artists, investing in our local creative community, and choosing connection over fear.

That’s what we’ll continue to do as we move through this moment - holding a space where all are welcome and community is built through creativity and care.

In that same spirit, we’re choosing to pause tomorrow in solidarity with the General Strike. The shop will be CLOSED Friday, January 30th as part of the call for no work, no school, and no shopping.

We see this pause as a small but intentional way to stand alongside our neighbors and our community. At the end of the day, this is about human beings, basic decency, and the rights that should protect us all.

Thank you for being here with us. 💛

We’ve been re-opened for over a week and have posted exactly zero times. Gold star for us. 😜

Taking a break from the content hamster wheel has honestly been SO NICE. But when our restock landed with their rad new packaging, we had to break our Instagram silence.

If you haven’t discovered this line yet, grab us next time you’re in. We will absolutely talk your ear off about it. We first found their products in Truckee about 15 years ago, and watching them evolve while staying fiercely committed to plant wisdom, inclusive body-affirming messaging (toxic anti-aging language be gone!), and genuinely sustainable practices, has been super inspiring.

Here’s what we love: they envision their products as herbal gateways that align our care for ourselves with our care for the earth. Local, organic, fairly traded ingredients. Low waste packaging that keeps getting better. Handcrafted to the highest standards. Love it!

Most of our staff uses these products as their daily skincare. So when you have questions, we’re not just reading you the label, we’re speaking from actual experience.

We also expanded into some of their mineral-based glimmer and lip and cheek stains this year - because why not add a little natural shimmer to 2026. Have a feeling we’re going to need it.

Come see the new display. It really is *chef’s kiss.

It wouldn’t be the end of the year without a moment of reflection, so here it is.

In so many ways, 2025 felt like starting over completely. A year of shedding what no longer fit, letting go of what we thought this business had to be, and rebuilding from the ground up. It was messy, humbling, and honestly hard as hell.

What carried us through was community.

The steady support of friends and family.
The energy, care, and belief from our incredible team.
The continued faith and partnership of our maker community.
And the loyalty of our customers - the regulars, the gift-givers, the workshop-goers, the folks who found us again and told their friends and family to do the same.

As a community-driven business, this year was deeply humbling. We leaned hard on the people around us, and you met us there with your time, your trust, and your support. You showed up again and again - choosing small, choosing local, and choosing independent in ways that truly made a difference, not just for our business, but for the creative ecosystem we’re all a part of.

Because of that support, we’re heading into the new year clear on what we’re here to do. The year ahead is about deepening what Wyld already is - a place to discover handmade work, shop with intention, gather around creativity, and support the artists and makers who make our community vibrant.

Before we do, we’re taking a short pause to rest, reset, and prepare for what’s next:
Closed December 31 – January 13
Back to business January 14

From the bottom of our hearts - thank you for being here, believing in this work, and helping keep creative, local communities alive.

With so much gratitude,
Jessie

NEW TO THE SHOP: Botanical Ghee from .

Ghee is clarified butter that’s been slow-cooked until the milk solids caramelize and separate, leaving behind pure, golden, nutrient-rich fat. It’s been used in for over 5,000 years as a healing food - prized for supporting digestion and nutrient absorption.
Here’s why it matters: Many powerful herbs and spices bond better to fats than water, making ghee from pasture-raised cows the perfect carrier. It’s also shelf-stable, has a high smoke point (so it won’t oxidize when cooking), AND it’s naturally lactose-free.

Sheerlie, a folk herbalist by training, takes this ancient tradition and infuses small-batch, handcrafted ghee with medicinal herbs and mushrooms. The result? Plant-powered nutrition that seamlessly fits into your daily routine. Jessie has been adding the D***y Mushroom blend to her coffee almost every morning since these came in. It’s earthy, grounding, and absolutely delicious!

You’ll find both sweet blends (perfect for coffee or spreading on toast) and savory infusions that add herbal goodness and serious flavor to your cooking. Each jar is made from organic, pasture-raised butter and packaged in amber glass to preserve potency.

Stop by to taste, ask questions, and discover which blend speaks to you. This is pantry staple meets wellness ritual, and we’re here for it!

There’s a story behind every beautiful thing, and we love helping to tell them.

Tomorrow, Ege from is bringing a collection of Turkish ceramics to the shop - handcrafted pieces from ceramicist Ekran Resmi that carry the warmth and beauty of the Mediterranean.

When Ege and her husband took over The Jesse, they wanted to bring their Mediterranean roots into the space, especially the coffee bar. She turned to artisans from her home country of Turkey, sourcing mugs made in small batches with the kind of care and craft that echoes the beauty of the Aegean Sea.

Guests at the coffee shop fell in love. They started asking where to find these pieces for themselves. So Ege began importing a small collection, and now she’s sharing them with us.

These aren’t mass-produced ceramics. They’re made by hand, each one slightly different, each one carrying a piece of Turkish culture and the simple pleasure of drinking coffee from something truly beautiful.

Tomorrow, Saturday 12/06 | 11AM-2PM

Come say hello, browse the collection, and maybe fall in love with a mug (or two). We’ll see you there!

The softest merino wool just landed on our shelves, and we’re completely smitten.

brings us handknit treasures that are equal parts cozy and stunning - from grown-up essentials like slouchy beanies and infinity cowls to the tiniest baby booties that literally make our hearts melt. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, crafted with the kind of attention that only comes from someone who truly loves their craft.

The textures are incredible - chunky cables, delicate seed stitches, playful bobbles. The colors range from rich earth tones to unexpected pops of brightness. And those wine bottle toppers? The perfect unexpected touch for your winter gift-giving.

What we love most: You can actually feel the quality difference when you pick these up. This isn’t mass-produced acrylic - it’s luxurious merino that gets softer with every wear.

Stop by to see (and touch!) the full collection.
