I Love Yarn Day – Saturday, October 10

Join us at The New Knittery on Saturday, October 10 as we celebrate I Love Yarn Day. It’s a day dedicated to everything we enjoy about yarn and the community that makes it special.

We’ll have a prize wheel in the shop, and it’s free to spin. You could win a discount on your purchase that day along with a few fun surprises. We’ll also have additional sales throughout the shop, so it’s a great time to stop in and treat yourself to something new.

We think this holds true for both knitting and crochet. Really, it applies to any of the fiber arts that give us a chance to unwind, destress, slow down, and get lost in the rhythm of the yarn.

There’s something special about having your hands busy while your mind gets a little quieter.

At The New Knittery, we offer classes and workshops, and we’re always happy to help you get started, answer questions, or get you unstuck when a project has you scratching your head.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by The New Knittery today to meet Jamie Lomax!

It was so much fun having Jamie in the shop, meeting knitters, chatting about her books, and sharing her love of knitting with our community.

We still have a few of Jamie’s books available for purchase, and the best part? They’re autographed by Jamie!

Don’t forget to stop by The New Knittery this Friday!!

Jamie Lomax, author of The Doodle Knit Directory and The Doodle Sock Knitting Directory, will be signing books and having a meet & greet on Friday, October 2nd from 10am to 2pm.

We will have The Doodle Sock Knitting Directory books in the shop to purchase. If you already have either or both of her books already, feel free to bring them to get autographed!
