I can't believe my last post on this page was on St. Patrick's Day LAST YEAR😱
🎶"If I could turn back time...
If I could find a way...."🎶

The older I get the faster the days fly by! And yet...the things needing done seem to drag on like a train being pulled by a snail!🐌🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃

Having to halt progress on the opening of the Studio due to the furnace going out last year was just one of the set backs...
We also had lots of large tree limbs break off of our Bradford Pear tree which is still waiting on tree service to help us clear away!
All in due time🙃
The plan is a work in progress!

I have learned to write my plans in pencil and carry a big eraser!
We planned to have various classes at the Art Studio this past winter but our furnace went out! So we regrouped and are working on that issue.
I am so encouraged that spring is showing itself in the Garden Gallery!!
Keep watching for our class schedule this coming May!

We all need to take time to rest....our bodies, minds, and soul♥️

Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that
doing nothing is doing nothing
for you.

That being unproductive is unproductive
for you.

We’ve gotten so used to being busy,
so used to doing things with visible results,
so used to tracking our steps and logging our activity and ticking things off our to-do list,
that we’ve forgotten the importance of rest.

‘Doing nothing’ and being ‘unproductive’ are actually doing something productive.

They are helping you recharge.
Recoup.

Reading a magazine or having a bath or sitting in the garden with a cup of coffee are not a waste of time.

Time spent rested is not time wasted.

We are not machines.
We are not robots.
We are not here to
constantly work and move and do.

We are human beings.

And sometimes we just need to be.
