It was a smokey three days at Huckleberry Days Arts Festival - but tourists and locals alike persevered and we were able to meet some new friends and visit with some old friends!

Our most popular item this year were our tabletops! We had a hard time keeping them on the shelf! A few are still available, and we do ship! (Fee depending on location)

We have a few customs to put together, then back to the drawing board in preparation for the Holiday season.

We hope to see you all in Kalispell, Black Friday Weekend, at the Flathead Fairgrounds for the ACF Christmas Show - November 27-29

Turns out where you live eventually shows up in what you make.

The mountains, the trees, the wildlife. After a while it all starts working its way into our designs whether we planned it or not.

Not a bad place to find inspiration.

I think we gained one whole new follower this week. 🎉
Pretty sure it was a friend. So we’re basically famous now. 😎
In all seriousness though, We’re just figuring this out. Posting more than we are used to. Showing things.
Still learning what works and what doesn’t.
But we’re here. And that counts for something.

This is Wolf Moon, and is one of our finished steel pieces.
There’s something about the contrast in this one that we really like. It’s got details that show up differently as the light moves across it.

Metal has been part of this life for over 40 years. From custom exhaust systems and fabrication work in Illinois to buying a plasma table with the idea of using it as a hobby for retirement, the path has slowly evolved.
In 2019, Montana became home full-time; now it’s a few shows a year and growing from there.
Different chapter. Still making cool stuff.

This is the moment when the design leaves the computer and meets the metal it's created from.

This is where all the pieces begin.

Lines and shapes drawn on the computer, the steel loaded on to the machine, and ideas slowly taking shape as the plasma cutter moves across the surface. Where the first step is quiet and trying to throw stuff together to make something that might look pretty - the second step is noisy, dusty, and not without it's frustrations. But it's all part of the process where things start becoming real.

We’ve been quiet over here… but not idle.

Most days look a lot like this — metal, sketches, stuff scattered across the bench, and the steady rhythm of making things by hand. What started as curiosity 10 years ago, slowly became a way to turn inspiration into pieces that live in homes and gardens.

We’ll be sharing more of that process this year — the quiet work, the messy parts, and the finished pieces along the way.
