Enjoying the last of the cafe au lait dahlias from our garden before we get hit with a frost here in Upstate NY. Love them mixed with this soft blue lace flower.

Catie + Eric 🥀

Give me a wedding with a little darkness. 🖤

Catie came to me with a vision that was romantic, feminine, and moody, and I fell in love with it immediately.

We layered soft, feminine florals with deeper tones and dark accents, then added an abundance of black taper candles to create that candlelit, atmospheric feeling we were after.

And Brown’s Revolution Hall? One of the few venues in the area that allows open-flame candles, which made it the perfect setting for this design.

The result was romantic, dramatic, and just a little unexpected. Exactly what we wanted.

These images by Cassandra Daye Photography Presents- Photo, Film, Super8 captured the mood of the day so beautifully. 🖤
