If you’ve ever been to an event at Stitchhouse and had a great time, just know that there is countless hours of prep work that goes into making it feel that way! From the layout, to the seating chart, snacks, notions, educator schedules and more. Every event is kind of like hosting a mini wedding. There are so many details I obsess over to make sure that things happen smoothly on event day. Things aren’t always totally smooth, but that’s to be expected too!

We’re in prep mode for our big OESD “Stitched It”event starting this Friday!

At this event we will spend two days in the hoop of an embroidery and sewing machine making and COMPLETING different projects utilizing a ton of fun techniques…. It’s the first of its kind from OESD and we’re excited to be the host!

Today we started calling the roster of people and discovered we had ONE additional spot available. Even though we’ve checked our list dozens of times! I want to give this spot away to someone who really will soak in all of this fun this Friday and Saturday. It’s day one at Babylock Tech in St. Louis so it feels appropriate to post a little of what we’ve been up to at the store. Last week we put the “picture play” feature to the test with a photo of my dog, Doug. I had text the team one morning and asked them to find a photo we could trial this feature with, and just loved when I came in to see Doug on the screen! It’s truly simple, all you do is take ANY photo, and convert it into stitches in the machine. It’s really just about 2 clicks and then you’re done. NO. SOFTWARE. REQUIRED!!! I think it turned out perfect and I love the pillow that Genice turned it into. Easy. Perfect. And easily my favorite new store sample 🤍🤍🤍
