We are Home Media Concepts.

Matt Pruett and Barry Melton have been providing designs, service and installations of all types of Home Theater, 2 channel audio listening rooms, TV, projector/screens, security cameras, fiber optics and networks for over 40 years combined.

Barry started in the commercial side of the industry installing lighting and sound systems for high school auditoriums, gymnasiums and hotel conference rooms. He began working at Audio Insights/Invisible Sound Systems in Plano 1995, was a lead installer at Hillcrest from 1997-2000, then a lead installer, trainer and manager of design at Starpower.

Matt started as an Electrician. After nearly a decade in residential and commercial electrical, he transitioned to audio/video, working for several companies like Starpower and Crown A/V in the late 2000’s. In 2010 he helped start Free My Music, eventually becoming the installation manager.

Home Media Concepts takes on any size project. From the simple installation of a TV on a wall with a soundbar to commercial projects that span multiple campuses.
