I’m the hands and heart behind Macratina Threads. A local macramé artist based in the Pacific Northwest. My journey with macramé began in 2019 with a book that once belonged to my great grandmother. As I slowly turned its carefully loved, timeworn pages filled with hand-drawn illustrations, I felt a quiet connection to the patience, creativity, and care woven into every design.
That book showed me how something handmade can hold meaning—how a simple hanging can bring warmth, softness, and soul into a room or setting. What began as a gentle creative outlet naturally grew into a passion for hand-knotting soft macramé pieces, each one made slowly, intentionally, and with care.
From keychains and car mirror diffusers to plant and hat hangers, wine bags, magnets, and my best-selling mini owls 🦉, every piece is created one knot at a time.
Macratina Threads is a small business with a big soul.
