Here’s a little look at our first week of Mercy Shop Class with Bridge Preparatory Academy!

We’re excited to have these students in the shop each week learning how to use tools, work with their hands, solve problems, and build something they can be proud of.

Week 1 was about getting comfortable in the shop, learning the basics, and talking shop safety.

We have a lot planned for this crew. This is going to be a good year.

Our mural is officially finished, and it turned out incredible.

A huge thank you to the RichmondTXGov for sponsoring this project and helping bring more art to Historic Richmond.

And Jesse, Jesse de Leon you absolutely killed it. Thank you for taking the vision and turning it into something better than we imagined.

Come by Mercy Goods, check it out, take a selfie, and tag us 𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙮 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨 so we can see it.

At Mercy Goods we believe that every teen has something to build and this group proved it.

So many people gave their time, heart, and support to make MERCY LAUNCH possible. We’re beyond grateful for each one: City of Richmond, Texas - Government , Development Corporation of Richmond Texas , John with John | Houston Food & Beverage Photographer , Joey with Truffle & Rye , Gino's Italian Joint , Lisa Ta with Texas Regional Bank, Commissioner Barry Beard, Jimmy Villeneuva Space City Team ,Pastor Richard Luna with St. John's UMC - Richmond, Texas, Emily Scherer, Aimee Frederick , Tank with TANKS Tee's and Apparel (thank you for the gift card), Montreal Peterson with Peterseine’s Place 19:23. for sponsoring our grand prize, and Carol Edwards, who gave two full weeks to pour into our students.

This class may be over, but the WORK is just beginning.

We’re looking for more people to jump in. Want to mentor, teach the next class, or support in other ways? There’s a spot for you. Message us or reach out at [email protected]

We had a great week with our MERCY LAUNCH advanced track, sponsored by The CITY OF RICHMOND. RichmondTXGov AND Develop Richmond TX

These students dove deep into their businesses and answered all the hard questions!

Thank you so much to our guest speaker, Lisa Ta with Texas Regional Bank and our judges Tank, Commissioner Beard, Aimee Frederick and Emily Scherer!

Congrats to Lily with 𝓛𝓲𝓵𝔂 for taking home the grand prize business launch kit. Thank you to Montreal with Peterseine’s Place 19:23 Inc. for the gift sponsorship!

These students are going to do big things. Stay tuned for all their success.

Our Mercy Launch Advanced Track starts on MONDAY!

At the end of the week, they’ll step in front of a panel of judges and deliver a real business pitch. They’ll defend their ideas, answer tough questions, and compete for a chance to win a Mercy Launch Business Kit designed to help them take the next step.

Instead of handing out a traditional prize, we want to invest in these young entrepreneurs with practical tools they’ll actually use. Leather journals, planners, business books, gift cards, office supplies, product photography tools, and other resources that can help turn a great idea into a real business.

Would you help us invest in the next generation of entrepreneurs?

If you’d like to donate an item, make a financial contribution toward a Business Kit, or learn more about how you can help, send us a DM, comment “I’m in!” below, or donate through the link in our bio. We’ll personally follow up with you.

Every successful business starts with someone who believed in the entrepreneur behind it. Thank you for helping us be that community.
