Mississippi Stitches specializes in custom, designer pillow covers. Welcome to Mississippi Stitches! I hope y'all enjoy Mississippi Stitches as much as I do!

Here you can find my custom handmade designer pillows and home decor! I use textiles from designers including Peter Dunham, Lisa Fine, Carolina Irving, Laura Park, Schumacher, Zak and Fox, Seema Krish, and more! I create collections to make your shopping experience easier. Pillows within each collection all coordinate with each other so that you don't have to play the guessing game. I also offer s

watches so that you can make sure the fabric colors match your home before purchasing. I have a background in nursing and am still practicing as a part-time pediatric nurse. I love this shop so much and want it to grow, so as of 2020 this is my full-time gig! I haven't always been a seamstress, and in fact I taught myself to sew while in nursing school in 2009! I love creating pieces that fit any style home, and I love even more hearing how much joy these beautiful textiles and pillows bring you! At Mississippi Stitches, we have relationships with hundreds of designer brands which allows us to order fabrics and wallpaper for you. You can find our Vendor List in our bio (). This list is NOT exclusive. If you don't see a fabric or paper you are needing, message us! We may still be able to order for you.

To request a designer fabric or wallpaper, send us an email: [email protected]. Include fabric or wallpaper name, colorway, and yardage quantity - as well as shipping address! We will get a FREE quote setup for you. No strings attached!

Fabric or wallpaper will be ordered once your payment processes. Typical lead times vary from 1-4 weeks depending on vendor's stock and shipping times.

Our workroom currently does not offer design services for selecting fabric for your space. If you need help selecting a fabric, we recommend reaching out to an interior designer or decorator for assistance. Once you have a fabric in mind, circle back to our workroom to order.

Except for a few interior designers, our workroom currently does not accept customer’s own material for custom requests. To ensure a seamless ordering and delivery process, we must place the order for fabric and have it shipped directly to our workroom.

Designer home accessories are difficult to source without access to a custom workroom or without hiring an interior designer.

At Mississippi Stitches, we help you elevate your space and dress up your windows with custom designer drapery and cafe curtains. For functional and stationary panels, we work with a commercial workroom that specializes in window treatments. Completed panels are shipped directly to you within 4-5 weeks of fabric arrival. Cafe curtains are handcrafted in our workroom and shipped directly to you within 1-2 weeks from fabric arrival.

Choose a designer fabric from one of the hundreds of designer brands we carry. You can find our Vendor List in our bio (). Swatches are available upon request. This list is NOT exclusive. If you don't see a fabric you are needing, message us! We may still be able to order for you.

Once you have a fabric selected, complete our "Custom Drapery Request" form (🔗 in bio), and we will setup a FREE quote for you. No strings attached. With your approval of the quote, you'll receive a checkout link to order.

Off-the-shelf options are so limited and oftentimes such poor quality. Seams fall apart soon after purchasing, or maybe the insert filling is flat or misshapen.

It’s been a minute since I’ve done an introduction. Since our recent change in operations, now feels like a great time to share more about my little pillow shop story...

Hi! I’m Katie - owner and seamstress behind Mississippi Stitches. Long story short, I’m a former pediatric hem/onc nurse turned pillow maker. I started this business as a side hustle in 2015, rebranded in 2018, then turned it into my full-time job at the end of 2019. It’s been a wild journey navigating this business during C*VID, supply chain issues, economical downturns, economical upswings, and more curveballs!

In April 2023, I purchased some property in Flora, Mississippi. My dad and I built a garden here, and I have spent every summer since learning what not to do.

In July 2024, on this same property, I broke ground on a new home and workroom. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, my life took a bit of a turn. At the same time I broke ground, I met the man I now call my husband.

On June 7, 2025, Brennan proposed to me at my favorite spot overlooking the garden. He and I got married the following November, and on that same day, I became stepmom to his two precious kiddos. Although since getting married, I no longer wake up here every morning, Brennan and I have found this place to be the perfect retreat. The past (almost) two years have been full of big changes and new adventures, but I’m so grateful for God’s provision and His continued blessings over this season.

This new workroom has been a dream come true, and I’m incredibly grateful for each day spent here sewing and packing your orders. I’d love to be a part of making your dream space a reality. Want to add a little more interest to your customer designer pillows? Add a contrasting cording or welt.

This client has several shades of blue in other pillows in her home, but she wanted to incorporate this Petite Frond in Clay fabric. To pull the design together, she requested a light blue cording.

These handcrafted pillows will certainly make a statement, and her color scheme look more intentional!
