Cress is a long loved favorite for me, but until this year I have not seen it grow this tall and beautiful. It was winter sown and left alone. It has been a forgotten surprise, honestly, and I love it!

I learn the most from how nature nurtures and grows beauty. Maybe we all need to learn to sow the best seeds and let them rest till the best time to bloom.

It’s time for another giveaway and a look at some things we will be offering at the farm this summer!

The winner will get to a Upick Event gift card for themself and a friend! 🌸1 bouquet for you and 1 for a friend and the fun of picking flowers together.🌸

Bloom Bars are back the 2nd Saturday of each month starting in July! Come to the field, pick the already cut and prepped flowers and make your own bouquet. We will teach you how to arrange it and wrap it and prep it to give away or keep for yourself. This one is always a favorite!

Upicks start the last Saturday in June and will continue the 4th Saturday of the month through September! Come out, walk the field, cut your favorite flowers. Bring a friend, bring your family ( please don’t bring pets).

We are excited to announce special events to come:
July - Make your own centerpiece.
August- Plant your own Dahlia Pot.
September - Paint and Petals.

Finally, we are thinking of starting a yoga/pilates class in the flowers this summer if there is any interest.

The farmstand is open today!

It’s a gorgeous day for a drive and why not pick up flowers for your favorite people.

Let’s look at what’s there!
💐 The Farmstand Special: This bouquet will change weekly. It is a few stems of all that is blooming on the farm. Smaller than the medium market and a little bit of everything. It’s perfect.

💐 Medium Mixed Market : this is our signature bouquet…the one we take to our parnter pop-ups. It is larger and has more premium blooms than the Farmstand Special, it is designed as a spiral bouquet so you can easily unwrap the bouquet and place it in a vase and done. It’s a little bit of wonder!

💐To-Go-Cup: Smaller stems, loaded with blooms, cute and quick and ready to gift! These fit great in canning jars and smaller vases.

💐Pint Jar Bouquet: just what it says…a smaller bouquet arranged in a pint jar and wrapped in our brown kraft paper. Perfect for gifting to that special hostess or favorite flower lover.

🌸Dried Flower Tags!
Just push the lid and pick your favorite. Small or Large. We love them!

Many designers use tools like wire or tape or even willow and other flowers to help keep the flowers positioned exactly where they want them.

I have found I prefer very little to no mechanics, but this little 3D printed flower frog by T & Z Prints & Designs was fun to employ.

It is light, easy to manipulate and pretty and it made it easy to design with the early short flowers that are always the 1st blooms on the ranunculus and anemone plants.

It lifts off easily to change the water and keeps the flowers where orignally arranged, but is easy to change as well.

It was fun creating with this tool.
