Hall's Antiques Etc.

Hall's Antiques Etc. 34,000 Sqare Feet filled with tons of antiques...from the 1800's to the present Hall's Antiques is located in the wonderful smal town of Riesel, TX.

Reisel is located right off of Hwy. 6, approximately 10 miles South of Waco. Halls Antiques sits inside an old lumberyard Barn by(Joan and John Hall 20 years ago, (in1992) fullfilling their dream of owning an antique store. During those 20 years, they filled one side full of beautiful items with amazing history behind each and every one of them. Joan still chuckles at a comment she made to John wh

en they first purchased the building. "There's no way we'll ever be able to fill even ONE side of the place up!" She chuckles because it was more than easy fillling both sides up, as I stated above; in a matter of a year or two. They both became avid and seasoned "antiquers." Another quick bit of interesting history about the builiding...it was built a little before 1880, and actually started doing business that year as a lumberyard. It is the largest building still standing to date in Reisel, TX...
Inside the store, (smack-dab in the very middle of it actually) is an active, artesian well. It is also the home of two beautiful Coi Fish that Joan Hall bough the year they purchased the building. They have gotten rather large over 20 years and are absolutely breathtaking! It has become a personal joy to feed them and admire them everyday. There are so many more amazing stories and history about that place that I love sharing with customers who come to visit.

General information

The antique store has been closed for quite a few months, due to John Hall's passing. He is dearly missed and will never be forgotten. I feel so blessed to be able to be a part of his and Joan's dream for so many years. Since then, Joan has been so busy with running Hall's Hidden Hollow Farm, she has not been able to keep the antique store open much. She said recently that over the years it had become more of John's love, rather than hers due to her demanding business at their farm. I have always admired the place and wanted to know more about antiques, but as many of us, never had the time to live out a dream. I recently have become able to do this now that I work for myself as a photographer. I hope you'll come out and see me, and the shop. Over the next few months I will be cleaning the place up and adding new items, along with millions of other tweaks along the way to make it even more incredible than it already is. I will also have an official website for the place up soon called "HallsAntiques.com." I'll be giving everyone a heads up when it's ready, and it will then be possibe to order any of the items in the store, online! Super excited about that. Let me know if there is any questions about buying or selling items, and anything else you might want to know! Thanks! God Bless...
