Story:

6 years ago, our store floor ended at the edge of the hardwood.

I asked Isaac to build a temporary wall. He did [of course 🤍]

In 2022, I asked him to move temporary wall 8 feet back. He did. [of course 🤍]

I then proceeded to cover non hardwood ugly floor with this busy black rug.

2026.
I’m over the busy black rug. It’s distracting. It gives me anxiety.

Enter calm beige rug.

The. End.

More changes coming to this back area very soooon and it’s probably Cabin Christmas related. 🎄 🔥 🎅🏻

Santa Claus is coming to Hart Mercantile on Tuesday October 27th🎅🏻 🎅🏻🎅🏻

A little early?
Yes.
But this vintage guy has been around long enough to do whatever he wants. 😂

He’ll be bringing some old-school Christmas cheer and he’ll be looking for a new home for the holidays!

Set a reminder for next Tuesday to check our online store for him [and more!] or pop in personally to say “hey”!

“Just moving a few things” is how every full-store rearrange starts.

A little holiday cheer is making its way into Hart Mercantile! 🎄🥂
