The Roanoke Antique Mall is looking to fil a part-time assistant manager position for 20 hours per week but can be more. Schedules are flexible within our open hours of 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. seven days a week, including some weekends. Schedules will be determined one month in advance. Duties include assisting our vendors who rent space, covering the front counter, assisting customers, and assisting with the locked showcases. As this is a new position, duties will grow to include opening and closing The Mall and closing out the daily sales. The Mall is always staffed with two employees and often a third employee on the floor. The starting salary will be $13.50 per hour, increasing to $14.50 after a period of two months. Schedules can be flexible within our open hours of 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. seven days a week. The schedule will include weekends and is determined and prepared by the manager a month in advance. Duties of the position include assisting our dealers that are renting space, customers, covering the front counter, entering sales into the computer system, and helping customers on the floor with locked cases and information. Duties may also include some light housekeeping as needed. The Mall is always staffed with 2 people and often a third person on the floor. The starting salary will be $12.50.
