This Friday get your kids over to Scrap Collective for some lantern-making fun!

Seriously, this is your chance parents- take a night off, go out, stay in, do whatever you want to! Food will also be provided - pizza, lemonade and cookies 🍕🧃🍪

Kids 7 and up can come and make a homemade lantern using rescued and repurposed materials from Scrap Collective’s Creative Reuse Center. STEM educator Dr Elizabeth Larsen will guide children through safe, hands on projects that turn *would-be trash* into glowing art.

Then on October 24 come out to our Halloween Lantern Festival and Parade to showcase their workshop creations and costumes! We’re looking forward to seeing you there! 🏮🍂👻🎃💀🍁

Visit scrapcollective.org or oldsouthwest.org/lantern-festival to register, or find the link in our bio.
