🎬✨ The Mr. took me out for the best birthday movie marathon at , and honestly, it was the perfect celebration! We spent the whole day watching Tron: Ares, Black Phone 2, and the original Halloween (1978)

Comfortable seats, gluten-free + dairy-free popcorn (olive oil + soy butter = perfection), and a mid-day surprise when my brother showed up made the day even better. 🍿🎉

If you’ve never done a full movie day, I highly recommend it — Emagine makes it so easy to relax, snack, and just enjoy the moment. I’m low key hoping they add a movie-day bundle… I’d be first in line! 🎟️💜

👻 Back for year two at and somehow the haunt was even scarier than the first time. The jump scares got me too good; I screamed loud enough to star in my own horror movie 😂💀

💆🏾‍♀️ The Mr. and I started our week with a couples massage , and wow… exactly what we needed. Warm tables (a must for me 🥶), calm music, and the most relaxing vibe. My neck knot? Gone 🙌🏾

🦞 Lunch dates with the Mr. after a massage? Yes, please! ✨
We went for steak + Chesapeake fries — crispy, seasoned, and absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was chill, the staff was kind, and they took my allergy needs seriously. Simple, delicious, and exactly what we needed. 💜

When Grandma says "let’s get pizza," we always call Tru Pizza Co (formerly Renee’s Gourmet Pizzeria).

✨ Gluten-free crust that’s chewy and rich
✨ Vegan cheese that doesn’t feel like a compromise
✨ Allergy-friendly options that actually taste good
✨ And don’t even get me started on those ELEPHANT EARS 🐘💫

We ordered:

When The Mr. promises a Memorial Day BBQ and we’ve got zero groceries… enter Aldi via DoorDash to the rescue. 🛒🔥

We managed to pull together a full cookout—chicken thighs, bacon-wrapped scallops, smoked sausage, chicken breast, greens, salad, baked potatoes, and a few strawberry dump cakes served with whipped cream on top 😋—without leaving the house. Everything arrived fresh, packed right, and on time.

Shoutout to + for saving the day and my sanity 🙌

Lunch win! 💥 Ordered from via DoorDash and everything was fresh, flavorful, and right on time. I had the shish tawook + salmon, The Mr. went for chicken & mushrooms, and Grandma got her fave: that soft, warm pita bread 🫓💕

Portions were generous and the whole fam was happy. Definitely keeping this one in the lunch rotation!

Brunch at = total success 🥞🎉

We brought the kids and headed to L.A. Cafe — the food was good, the vibes were cozy and buzzing, and the staff went above and beyond for our gluten-free needs.

I had a hash brown bowl + GF toast, and yes, I definitely stole a bite of the kids' French toast. So worth it. 😂

has great service and a fun, welcoming space full of vintage charm. Already planning our next visit!
