What a weekend. 🥹💕

I am completely exhausted, but my heart is so full.

When I set up on Friday, my table was packed. By the end of the weekend, I had sold through most of my inventory and met so many amazing people along the way.

There were so many little moments that made this weekend special. Customers coming back to my table, kids carrying around their new plushies, hearing everyone's favorite pieces, and even finding out a little girl came back looking for one of my ducks after I had already packed up. 🥹

One customer was kind enough to send me a photo of her daughter cuddling one of the plushies she bought, and I don't think she realizes how much that meant to me. Seeing something I made become someone's new favorite friend is the best feeling in the world.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, shared kind words, followed my page, or took home one of my creations. Your support means so much to me and my family.

A few months ago I picked up a crochet hook not knowing where this journey would take me. Now I'm spending my weekends surrounded by people who appreciate handmade creations, and that's something I'll never take for granted.

I'm so excited to be set up at Thursday Nights at the Farm tonight! The weather is beautiful, the music will be playing, and it's the perfect evening to get out and enjoy everything our community has to offer.

🐞❤️ Today reminded me why I love this community.
I woke up this morning discouraged. The weather wasn't looking great, and I was worried Ladybug Day wouldn't turn out the way I had hoped.
But wow... was I wrong.
So many families came out, kids were excited about my Pocket Pals and squishy fidgets, and the community truly showed up despite the weather. ☔➡️☀️
One moment that really touched my heart was when a woman stopped by and donated $10 because she said she came to the event after seeing my posts about it. That meant so much to me and was such an unexpected act of kindness.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by Nani's Toy Box, made a purchase, shared a smile, or simply took the time to say hello. Days like today remind me that community is about so much more than sales.

Este evento familiar gratuito contará con pintacaritas, música en vivo, desfile infantil, artes y manualidades, negocios locales y mucha diversión temática de mariquitas.

I'm excited to be part of this year's Ladybug Day celebration on Saturday, June 6th from 11 AM–3 PM!

This free family event will feature face painting, live music, a kids parade, arts & crafts, local businesses, and plenty of ladybug-themed fun.

Today was a tough market day.

I always want to be transparent with you all, and today was definitely humbling. I spent the day surrounded by amazing vendors, watched lots of people stop by, play with my creations, and share kind words... but in the end I made just a hand full of sales.

Of course that's disappointing, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't get to me. But small business is full of highs and lows, and I think it's important to share both.

The good news? I learned a lot, met some wonderful people, and got to see so many smiles from kids who stopped to play with my creations. That's still a win in my book.

So I'm packing up, taking what I learned, and getting ready for Saturday's event with a grateful heart and a few new ideas.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported, shared encouragement, or simply took a look. Nani's Toy Box isn't going anywhere. 💜🧶
