Angelica Sanzotta Designs Discover one-of-a-kind wearable art, painted with love! These unique pieces represent joy, love, en A few years ago, I came across a TED Talk by Dr. Brene Brown.

My story begins in Bogotá, Colombia where I was born and raised. I came to America in 1997 and settled in Rochester, NY to pursue a career as a high school teacher, a calling that I love to this day. My creations are rooted in the incredible healing power of art. I have been a witnessed of the joy and therapeutic effects that painting and creativity can bring to our lives, especially when being fa

ced with life's challenges. In it, she explains "Courage" as the act of sharing our hearts with a touch of vulnerability, and of an understanding that we are enough just as we are. At first, when I started creating these pieces around two years ago, I wasn't quite ready to be courageous. After facing some health challenges and coming to the realization of how short life really is, today, I am excited to share them with you! Life's transitory nature can motivate us to take chances and can light a fire under us like nothing else. I create this jewelry pieces to spread love, hope, and positivity to others. I also want those who own a unique piece of jewelry to be reminded of embracing their own bliss and to consider that the challenges life places in our paths are often blessings in disguise. Life is too short my friends. I believe the key to manifesting miracles in our lives is putting love into action! Each of the pieces I pain is unique; no two are alike. This is also true of all of us. Our differences make us beautiful. Wearing a one-of-a-kind jewelry piece honors who you are. I dedicate my creations to my daughter Emi. May you let our light shine always; may you be courageous and share your many talents without fear! This world needs more people like you, my love. Con Amor,

Angélica

Colombia part 4:

Coming back to the US after being in Colombia is always hard, and this year it felt even harder; however, so many blessings came from this trip. We saw the best in people, kindness, generosity, and empathy. We enjoyed every minute even harder with each other being reminded that life is precious and fragile. Emi's Spanish improved tremendously! She is even dreaming in Spanish, and speaking in Spanish in her sleep 😜I am so proud of my girl, of her strength and resiliance. When we were leaving the airport, we spotted a US Airforce plane that was there with aide for the victims. My heart was so thankful to see my people were helping my people 🇺🇸🇨🇴 Although it was awful, I will always feel blessed to have been there during the earthquake to help my parents. Thank you for all your prayers for Colombia. Please keep them going. There is a long road ahead for thousands of people at home. We sre so thankful to be home safely 🙏🏽💖🇨🇴

Colombia part 3- Last week we had a chance to see our cousins. I am so glad Emi gets to see her cousins every trip. ❤️ These last couple of days, I have been trying to have some normal days for Emi and my parents. We headed to the craft district to get some wooden pieces to paint and stay distracted. Emi even opened a "Colombian restaurant" and we have had a lot of fun with that. Having normal days seems impossible, but being resilient, moving forward, helping others, and not losing our smiles due to fear is a lesson I want Emi to take from all this. 🇨🇴

Hi friends...❤️

We are safe and doing well. We are looking for ways to help. In Bogotá there are several "puntos de acopio" or collection spots for donations. There are many basic things they are needed like diapers, baby wipes, feminine products, hygiene kits, non presishable food items, bandages, sterile gloves, dog and cat food and more.

Many of you have reached out asking how you could help, if you would like to know more, please let me know. Your continued prayers are the best help. Thank you again for all the messages and for thinking of us. Gracias 🙏🏽❤️🇨🇴

Please pray for my beautiful country 💔🇨🇴 Thankfully, we were able to evacuate safely. There's no clear count of how many people are missing right now, as some buildings have collapsed since this morning. Thank you to everyone who has reached out. My phone is going in and out due to network issues so may not get messages🙏🏽

Happy 4th of July, everyone 🎉 ❤️🤍💙

In 2006, I became a naturalized American citizen 🇺🇸. That was a very special day for me. I feel very proud and always thankful for the life I have been able to build here and to everyone who paved the way for me. 🇺🇸 Today, in my heart, I am celebrating all the American people who believe in the value of diversity and who appreciate the differences that make us all unique. I celebrate the many open hearts and open minds that lift us and remind us of the reasons why some of us come here in the first place. ❤️

Please remember that today is a hard day for people struggling with PTSD and pets who struggle with fireworks. A perfect reason for some extra snuggles 🥰
