I’m Maria, the creator of Casa Maria · Cucina Vetri, bringing together a lifetime of Italian culinary traditions and regional flavors. I spent my childhood holidays at the foot of the Italian Alps, in a city called, Torino, and my school summers along the Emilia-Romagna seaside, where food was always at the heart of gathering and celebration. My Sicilian nonna, who lived in Torino, taught me the foundations of home cooking and instilled in me a deep respect for authentic ingredients and timeless techniques. My time living in Modena—Italy’s renowned “Food Valley”—expanded my expertise in Emiliana cuisine and enriched my appreciation for regional artistry. Every recipe I share is rooted in real Italian heritage and shaped by my personal collection of experiences and memories. I’m excited to share them with you and build a community that celebrates food, travel, and joy.
