Hey friends, hope your Tuesday is starting out great! Today I wanted to bring you another budget friendly diy home project my honey and I did a few years ago. Our front door entryway had always seemed drab to me. Kenny had done a beautiful board and batten half wall in that space about 5-6 years ago which definitely made a huge difference. The entryway just still didn't seem finished to me. So I asked him if he could do a wood plank ceiling and he definitely delivered 😊 We picked out a very moody almost black in color click lock accent wood and he got to work. The only tricky part was finding a trim piece to frame out the blank space as you enter the dining area because with the existing crown molding, it needed to look as natural as possible and sit flush against it. It really added some drama to the entryway and is a beautiful focal point now❤️ We did the whole project for around $80 and it didn't take him a super long time to complete it either!
Here's your sign to dive in and get creative with spaces around your home without fear! Things don't have to cost you a fortune to give you that upgraded look you've been envisioning. Hit up the hardware stores, do a little product and price comparison, and find the perfect budget friendly materials to help give you the look you're desiring ❤️ I hope you have a blessed and inspired rest of your day!!!
