Next is pack clothes, snacks, fill the water tanks and we’ll be ready to roll in the morning!
This is my third market weekend in a row and then I have about 6 weeks off before the holiday market madness starts.

I’m finishing up a batch of walnut moon air plant hangers for my Crozet Arts & Crafts Festival friends this weekend.
Each shape is cut by my own two hands on my bandsaw and there are no two that are the same.
Other moon color combinations will be available but I think these are the most dreamy 🌙 and I’m excited to see which ones you’ll choose.

I made a wood shrimp air plant hanger 🦐😂

I’m packing up for this weekend’s market and it got me thinking about shrimp (it’s a seafood festival) so instead of packing, I drew a quick sketch, cut out some shapes and made a wood shrimp from cedar. It’s adorned with some gold chain legs and antenna and of course, an air plant.

It’s kinda weird, ridiculous and silly and it absolutely makes me giggle.

You’ll find this shrimp and other one of a kind air plant hangers at North Carolina Seafood Festival in Morehead City, NC
Friday - Sunday

Also, this song 🎶 makes me giggle! I swear there’s a song for everything and I had no idea how many songs there were about shrimp, it was tough to choose.

I’ve envisioned these in my mind for months and yesterday, I finally gave them a go and I’ve gotta say, I’m absolutely in love with how they turned out.

After I shared one of them to my story here on the insta, a dear friend (💕📣 Indigo Roots Textiles | Heirloom Sustainable Fine Art) encouraged me to make more, so I did.

I’m really so proud of them and excited to bring them “home” with me to Charlotte to debut them Festival In The Park
