We had so much fun celebrating the kickoff to Pride Month this past weekend! We loved seeing everyone at the shop. It was my first time being downtown for the parade and the alley party (since my mom ran the shop this day last year). What a joyful, beautiful celebration! ❤️🌈

The Scrap Jar will always be a safe space for people to be their truest, most colorful, most creative, most loving selves! Love is love! To the LGBTQ+ community, you belong here, you are seen, and you are loved!

(Also, shoutout to the Filipino food truck that was there!! As a Filipino, it’s always a treat to see Filipino food out and about! 🥰)

Happy Pride Month! 🌈❤️ You can come make free pride flag bracelets here at the shop on Saturday during the festivities! Parade starts at noon, and the goes from 12-8pm! The shop will be open 11-3 and we’re right on the parade route!

On another note, large donation appointments and event space rentals are back! Yay! We appreciate your continued patience as my postpartum brain is figuring out how to stay on top of emails/communication, but we’re excited to be back! 😅

And more importantly, to the LGBTQ+ community, you are loved, you matter, and you belong here! 💕
