Comment “HOME” and we’ll send you some of our best tips for finding unique pieces for your home without overspending.
A great showroom needs a great back end.
Our warehouse is attached directly to our showroom, so when your flooring, tile, rugs or other products arrive, we can personally check everything before it ever gets to your home.
But there’s another side most people never see.
Upstairs we keep closeouts, smaller pieces, area rugs and leftover products that can be perfect when you want something great without spending a fortune.
The showroom might be where the ideas start, but there’s a whole lot more hiding behind the curtain.

Comment “DESIGN” and we’ll send you some of our best tips for making your home feel timeless instead of trapped in a TV rerun.

Blind ranking some of the most recognizable interiors in TV history gets dangerous fast.

The Brady Bunch house is a mid century modern classic. Full House gets points for feeling like the home you somehow grew up in even if you never stepped inside.

Monica’s apartment from Friends? That’s the place everyone wanted to hang out.

Charmed nailed the dark, gothic look. The Sopranos kitchen is iconic, but iconic doesn’t necessarily mean good design.

Frasier had a great apartment with one questionable chair, while Fresh Prince, Golden Girls and the rest prove just how much interior design can define an entire show.

Which TV home are you actually moving into?

Comment “DESIGN” and we’ll send you some of our best tips for using wallpaper without making your home feel outdated.

Wallpaper is making a huge comeback, and your powder room might be the best place to go completely wild with it.

Florals, graffiti, skulls, bold colors or even pickleball wallpaper. The powder room is one of the few spaces where you can take a massive design risk without overwhelming the rest of your home.

Stop thinking wallpaper has to look like your grandmother’s house.

Today you can customize a wall around practically anything you’re into, from golf and fishing to patterns nobody else will have.

Your powder room is small. Your wallpaper doesn’t have to play it safe.

Terrazzo is back in, but it’s definitely having a trend moment.

Sisal and jute are very much in. The natural texture works especially well in coastal homes.

Cowhide? I still love one layered over another rug, but overall you’re seeing less of it.

Penny tile is always in for a bathroom. Simple, classic and timeless.

Gray washed oak is out. Unless we’re talking about the right beach house, it’s starting to feel dull and dated.

Zellige is in right now and gives you an incredible handcrafted look, but this is another one I’m not convinced will be everywhere forever.

The difference is knowing what’s a trend and what will still look good years from now.

Some flooring trends are coming back. Others need to stay in the past.

Terrazzo is officially back in, but remember, it’s still a trend.

Sisal and jute are very much in, especially in coastal homes where natural textures fit perfectly.

Cowhide? I love the look layered over another rug, but you just don’t see it as much anymore.

Penny tile is always in for a bathroom. Classic, simple and timeless.

Gray washed oak is out. The beach house might be the exception, but everywhere else it’s starting to feel dull and dated.

Zellige is one of the hottest looks right now. It’s in today, but I’m not convinced it’ll stay forever.

Comment “PANCAKE” and send us a picture of your dog. We’ll show you how we can turn them into a custom accent book.

One of the most underrated decorative pieces for your home is something most people have never even heard of.

Accent books let you take something personal to you and turn it into part of your decor.

Your dog can become a custom book on your coffee table. Your favorite Rolling Stones song can become a conversation piece. Even the Swiftie in your family can have something completely unique for their room.

The best decor isn’t always the most expensive piece in the room.

Sometimes it’s the piece nobody else has.

Comment “DESIGN” and we’ll send you some of our best tips for choosing furniture that still looks good years after you buy it.

Furniture icons are iconic for a reason, but that doesn’t mean they all belong in your home.

The Eames lounge chair is always in. Mid century design that still feels just as cool today.

The Chesterfield is another timeless piece. Put it in a dark, moody study and you immediately get that classic country club feel.

The Togo? Out. It sits incredibly low and just doesn’t work in most everyday spaces.

The Barcelona chair gets points for looks, not comfort.

And the cloud couch stays in because at the end of the day, your furniture should actually be comfortable enough to live on.

Which one are you putting in your house?

Comment “DESIGN” and we’ll send you some of our best tips for choosing wallpaper that makes your home feel elevated instead of dated.

Wallpaper is coming back on Long Island, but that doesn’t mean every wallpaper deserves a comeback.

Fake brick, dated borders and those old novelty patterns can stay in the past.

What’s coming back? Plaid in a big way. It can look incredible in a boy’s room, den or office when you want something tailored and classic.

Grasscloth and more sophisticated patterns are another way to add texture and completely elevate a room without making it feel overwhelming.

And if there’s one room where you should take a risk, it’s the powder room.

Choose something memorable enough that your guests come out talking about the walls.

Comment “HOME” and we’ll send you some of our best tips for choosing flooring that actually works for each room.

These are three flooring mistakes I would never make in a bedroom.

Porcelain tile is number one. It’s hard, cold and not what most people want to step onto first thing in the morning.

Super light or white carpet is number two. Bare feet, natural oils and everyday life will eventually start showing, no matter how clean you are.

And the worst one? Heavy s**g carpet.

We once ripped out a customer’s s**g carpet and found a diamond ring she had lost 15 years earlier buried inside it.

If your flooring can hide a diamond ring for 15 years, imagine what else is living in there.

Persian rugs? Always in. They’re timeless enough to work in a traditional home but can also make a modern space feel more eclectic.

S**g rugs? Out. They collect dust, hold onto everything and I keep hoping they stay gone.

Wall to wall carpet? In for the right person. It’s less about being trendy and more about where it makes practical sense.

Herringbone wood? In when it’s used as an accent. Cover too much of the house with it and it starts becoming overwhelming.

Checkerboard tile? Same rule. A foyer can look classic and timeless. The entire house would be way too much.

Good design is sometimes about knowing when to stop.
