The New York Sheep and Wool festival is the weekend of October 17-18 in Rhinebeck, NY. Classes are taught from October 15-18.

Last few days to take 20% off A Light Drizzle shawl pattern on Ravelry and Payhip (links in bio)!

I really loved how the crescent shape drapes around my neck -- increases along the top edge, but also in the lace patterning, help the body of the shawl flare outwards while the top edge stays relatively tight.

I never know how lace will block out, but this one turned out just as I wanted. 🥰

A Light Drizzle shawl pattern remains 20% off on Ravelry and Payhip through July 8!

This shawl has instructions for adding some beads along the bottom edge (though these are optional). Beads can add some extra color and shimmer to your knitting, and they also help with drape.

A Light Drizzle is a crescent shawl worked in all-over lace mesh interspersed with stockinette ‘raindrops.’ Optional beads accentuate the deep points along the bottom edge.

Wavy lines of brioche stitches travel up the edge of this asymmetrical shawl like kelp fronds buffeted by the ocean currents.

This hat worked up really quickly -- it's knit in garter stitch, and the short row sections are very addictive.

The instructions are written for three sizes. Using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished hat and the amount of yarn needed.

This hat is perfect for variegated or color-changing yarns. Garter stitch rows travel in two directions across this easy, quick-to-knit project.

The crown of the hat is worked sideways with German short rows for shaping. Then stitches are picked up and the brim is worked in the round, making it simple to customize its length.

My sample used Boho Gradient Yarns Midnight Twisted in the colorway Dragonfly. AMAZING color changes. Yarn Daze
