We started a HUGE exterior home remodel several months ago, and I can finally say… I AM IN LOVE! 😍🏡

We took off the old siding and added board & batten, removed those massive columns on the front of the house, and replaced them with beautiful brick pillars and cedar posts. ❤️

Then came ALL the little details that made such a big difference:
✨ New gutters + drainage system
✨ New garage doors
✨ New lights over the garage
✨ New outdoor uplighting
✨ Six new lights across the porch
✨ Updated lights on the columns at the end of the driveway
✨ And finally… the whole house got a fresh coat of paint!

It has been a process, but WOW… seeing it all come together makes every bit of it worth it. 🥰

Now we just need Texas weather to cooperate because landscaping is NEXT! 🌿🌱 I already have ideas, and I’m pretty sure my husband is going to be thrilled. 😂😂

Well, today is basically Hubby’s day to shine. 😂😂

My man has a beard. And not just any beard…apparently it’s a “stop him while he’s out in public and tell him how much you like it” kind of beard. 🤣

Seriously…people will literally stop him and compliment his beard! Meanwhile, I’m over here like, “Yep. I know. I live with the man.” 😂

So in honor of National Beard Day, I need to know…

Today is basically a national holiday in my book. 😂

I’m a cheese or pepperoni kind of girl. Keep it simple and I’m happy! 🙌🏼🍕

BUT…one of my girls LOVES pineapple on her pizza. 🍍🍕 And I’m just going to say it…that’s a little controversial in this family. 😂😂

Friday night family fun! ⚾️❤️

We were invited to the Rangers game tonight, and our friends have a suite! Let me just say…once you watch a baseball game from a suite, it’s REALLY hard to go back to regular seats. 😆

The food is absolutely to die for, the company is even better, and then there’s a SUNDAE BAR for dessert! 🍦🍫🍓

I mean…sign me up for every game from now on! 😂

Such a fun night with our favorite people! ❤️⚾️

I love, LOVE hair day! There’s just something about leaving the salon with fresh color, fresh curls, and feeling like a whole new girl. 💁🏻‍♀️💇🏻‍♀️❤️

Mel got a piece of bread this morning and apparently decided she wasn’t hungry right this second… so naturally, she stuffed it IN THE COUCH CUSHIONS. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Because why eat your snack when you can save it for later like a squirrel?! 🐿️🍞

Welllll… Amazon sent me ANOTHER vacuum to try! 😂🧹

Y’all know I loved the first one they sent me for those quick little cleanups, but this one is definitely the big girl vacuum. 😂 She’s a little more heavy duty!

It was super easy to put together, and it has that green light that I LOVE! 💚 You know the one… it shines down on the floor and suddenly you realize your house is apparently MUCH dirtier than you thought. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Especially on my dark wood floors!

And today, my puppy decided to help with the product testing by completely destroying one of her toys. 😬🙄 There were little pieces everywhere, but this vacuum handled it like a champ!

The canister was also super easy to dump, which is important because I’m not trying to wrestle with a vacuum AND a dirt canister. 😂

I’m giving this one a BIG ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

And at around $110, I honestly think it’s a pretty great bargain for a more heavy-duty vacuum.

I got to have lunch with an absolutely adorable friend today! 🥰 She’s the owner of Indy Clover - Plano, TX, so of course I showed up early… because what kind of friend would I be if I didn’t squeeze in a little shopping before lunch?! 😝🛍️

And LOOK what I found! 👗👗 Not one, but TWO dresses—and one of them still had the tags on it! 🙌🏼

Now for the best part…

How much did I pay for BOTH dresses?

54¢. TOTAL. 😳😂

FIFTY-FOUR CENTS, Y’ALL!!! You just can’t make this stuff up. This is exactly why I love thrifting! 💕🛒

Lunch with a cute friend + shopping + two dresses for 54¢ = a pretty perfect day to me! 😆
