On our recent research trip to Chicago w my girl we sought out the high/low mix we shoot for in our interiors. Every room needs pieces with soul, so we hit the vintage shops. We also hit the luxury showrooms for those foundational pieces & permanent installations. Thank you to our trade partners for the reservations at Three Arts. We also thoroughly enjoyed restaurant our last night in town. We’re inspired for our next client projects—consider this your cue to book the trip! 🥂

Last night I was struck by the luck & love I’ve found in our interior design community. ⚡️ Our 2026 NEKS NKBA board successfully launched the first-ever Design Distinction Chapter Awards. Our friends, board members, designers, students, professors, publications, and trades all came together to make the night magic. Our out-of-state judges made our night! 🪄 I’m struck by how many of you have become near & dear to my heart. ❤️ Thank you for showing up time after time. Our connections & genuine love for one another are everything. Excited for what’s next! ⚡️

Thank you to Design & Detail KC, beautiful Beth and Teresa, our rep Lou, Wesley Hall and their incredible family business, and Valdese Weavers for a power-packed 3 days of Wesley Hall University in Hickory, NC along with Design & Detail St. Louis and our designer friends from the east coast. I’ve always loved this brand for its product. Now I love it even more for its family. ❤️
