🇺🇸 Father’s Day is sneaking up on us!

Today is World Clubfoot Day. 💙

Both Anya and I were born with clubfoot.

These photos show a small part of that journey—from tiny casts and braces to where we are today. It’s something that has shaped both of our lives in different ways, and it’s one of the many things we’ve shared as mother and daughter.

I’m grateful for the doctors, treatments, and support that helped make our journeys possible, and I’m especially grateful for this girl. 💙

Today’s glass haul was extra special because it was purchased with a Mother’s Day gift certificate from my mom. 💙

I had way too much fun picking out all these gorgeous sheets, and now the hardest part begins… deciding what to make with them!

Who else gets their creative juices flowing at night? 💙

Definitely a night owl over here. Most of my late-night projects start with a random idea, a spool of cord, and “I’ll just make one thing real quick.” 😂

This air plant pod holder is one of those projects. A few finger snaps later… definite coastal vibes. 🌊

Another late-night project finished. 💙

I decided to make this air plant pod holder in black this time, and I have to admit… I’m really loving how dramatic the black cord looks compared to the natural color.

Air plants are one of my favorite ways to add a little greenery without taking up much space, and these little pods are such a fun way to display them.

Which one would you choose: natural or black?

One of Josh’s Father’s Day gifts is officially underway. 💙

A couple of years ago he came across a stained glass version of George Costanza’s famous “Art of Seduction” pose and immediately asked if I’d make one someday.

Well… this seemed like the perfect year.

I redrew parts of the pattern to better fit how I wanted to build it, Josh helped clean everything up digitally, and now I’m at one of my favorite stages of the process—choosing the glass.

Of all the things I’ve made in stained glass, I never expected George Costanza on a chaise lounge to be one of them. 😂

There’s something satisfying about watching a stained glass piece come together.

This patriotic heart took about 45 minutes of soldering between the front, back, and edging. Condensed down into 89 seconds, you get to see the entire process from bare copper foil to finished piece.

I love how the iridescent star catches the light and shifts colors, and the textured glass adds so much character once the sun hits it. Those little details are what make stained glass so much fun to work with.
