So first things first, this is a friends wouldn't let friends moment for me Don't let anyone you know buy composite lumber for decking and fencing. Consumers are being lead ary by thinking they are choosing something that is more environmental..Nothing could be farther from the truth! Trex and many other snazzy named manufacturers are producing a product that has a terrible track record for flaking and breaking down under UV light sometimes as early as two to three years . It' hot, stains,molds and the warranty makes the contractor who installs the crap responsible by stating that it was installed incorrectly. Plus it breaks down to phtalate dust the disrupts estrogen in animals and human. Natural Home is now selling Bamboo Decking that is very beautiful..I will post more on that later.

This is for all those suffering from Acute Accumulative petro-chemical distress syndrome. better known as A.A.P.D.S..and especially for Nicole who is someone I just talked to from Bellingham Washington. Your body has under gone a toxic/emotional crises, where it is giving you signals so you can stay healthy. You are not crazy..many people deal with those same reactions from new building materials. I have suffered for many years, not able to go into malls..because of the stain-repellent.sizing, and formaldehyde in clothing..not to mention the plastic smell that burns my nostrils!I found in 1990 I was reactive to the poison in synthetic carpet,under-pad paints,new upholstery..care exhaust,perfumes..all from chemicals that are made with petroleum..that are being proven carcenogenic There are thousand of us that deal with this"high sensitivity" and would love to hear from anyone that can tell your story..Just to let our newest "convert" into the world of new awareness. Let's all stay healthy!

has discovered a NON-TOXIC adhesive to use when we install cork
glue down flooring! We also may have a source for carpet glue that will be non-toxic.
It is difficult to stop the many synthetic carpets and glue-down installations..in schools,hospitals and offices
but if I could at least provide a non-toxic glue..instead of the very toxic contact adhesive that would be at least 50% improvement in interior air quality. Please beware, in the winter when your dwellings are all closed up the off-gassing of any new materials could be harmful to your health. Also mold is another problem..nut that's another post!
