I've been knotting for about 7 years. I love learning new knots and figuring out new ways to incorporate them into my work. I especially get excited when I find an antique to use as a base for my macramé! Most of my work is available at Piney River Antique Mall in Doolittle, MO. In addition to my macrame, I've also added lots of cool vintage

and antique items, and some other handcrafted items like jewelry and wreaths. MACRAME & WEAVING SUPPLIES
For the main cording I use 100% recycled cotton string and rope. The main company I use says: "The highest quality up cycled cotton cord in the market, made from cotton fabrics from the garment industry. To get the color, we don’t dye the fiber, we choose similar color garments, we break down the fabric to cotton fiber again and then we spin the fiber to create the cotton thread. With this manufacturing process, we can reduce the water usage in half and reduce very significantly the CO2 emissions. By choosing this cotton cord, you are helping eliminate waste that will otherwise end up in our landfills." I have a nice selection of driftwood collected from the shores of Lake Superior that I love to use. Other supplies I might use for details could be leather, suede, fiber blends, beads, metals, wood and anything that I consider pretty or unique. One of the most exciting things about my process is FINDING supplies and using them in ways others might not have thought of. I like to rummage through old things that have potential. I like to look for interesting things at estate sales, yard sales, thrift shops, antique malls, local online sellers, and my favorite, taking things from my parents! I love incorporating handmade items from other artisans, such as pottery beads and hand spun yarn. CUSTOM ORDERS
I value my creative process and the healing it provides. To keep things interesting for me, I don't keep a record of the patterns I create. This way, every piece is different for each customer, and it keeps me from getting bored. However, sometimes I create multiples of smaller pieces. I'm happy to create a one of a kind piece for you! I moved this macrame curtain so that it's now in your face.
I took the pretty plates off of the "wall plate hanger thingy." I think the books look cute on it.
I added lots of new faux and dried flowers for the Flower Bar.
