“What are those huge plants outside?” This is a daily question here! Alocasia Elephant Ears. They sure do get big, especially in large pots filled with a high quality soil with regular watering and fertilizing is 🔑 The sunpatiens and doreanthus surrounding them are a great easy care match 😍

In our beautiful wood bench made by Chad Johnson we have white dragon wing begonias, these are so easy to care for and as you can see, they grow large as well! If you haven’t chose these before, add them to your list for next year!

Along our east side is putting on a show too, “what are those pink plants in there?” Iresine Blazin Rose. This plant gets very large, does well in beds or large planters. And that black grass is stunning! Two different coleus and some red with bronze leaf wax begonias to accent the color pallet.

Please share pictures with us of your proud planters and gardens! We love to see them mature from the babies we started ❤️

Your garden is in full bloom, but a little mid-season care will keep it looking beautiful through the rest of summer!

🌿 Feed your flowers: Apply a balanced fertilizer to your annuals and hanging baskets to keep blooms coming strong.

✂️ Give petunias a haircut: If your petunias are looking leggy, trim them back by about one-third. They’ll reward you with fresh growth and another wave of vibrant blooms in just a few weeks!

🫐 Now’s a great time to plant berries: Raspberries and blueberries can be planted in mid-summer with consistent watering. Blueberries thrive in acidic soil, and both will reward your patience with delicious harvests for years to come.
