Furniture has a type

This recliner has a VERY different owner than the white chair.

He is 58, but has been 58 since he was 43.

He owns a dog. not a doodle. Maybe a Lab, German Shepherd, hunting dog, or a little dog he claims he didn't want but now feeds pieces of cheese from this exact chair.

He falls asleep in this recliner at 8:37 PM with the TV absolutely BLARING.
Says, “I’m just resting my eyes.”

Doesn't understand why anyone would spend $8 on coffee.

Has a garage containing approximately $47,000 worth of tools but will complain about the price of things.
He watches the weather radar like he's personally responsible for the storm and the protection of the town.

This chair faces a television. There is no discussion about furniture placement.

His house isn't decorated. His wife decorated around him.

Okay, I've decided furniture has personality types.

This chair belongs to the mom who is an old soul.

She’s not actually a grandma, but she has grandma hobbies. She crochets. She has a garden. She probably cans something. She owns a really good pair of slippers and would rather stay home than go anywhere (except a chicken show).
She drinks coffee out of an actual mug, not a travel cup. It has a cute saying on it.
She 100% has a cat. Probably a slightly overweight one with an old time human name like Walter, Mabel or Frank.

Her house is warm, collected and comfortable. Nothing is there just because. She buys things because she LOVES them, and once she finds a good chair, she's keeping it for 20 years.

This is HER chair. 🤍
