Inspiring the Next Generation of Glaziers and Construction Professionals.
Some of the Stratford Glass & Mirror team had the honor of participating in the Career & Technical Education Fair at the James Reese Career and Technical Center in Sugar Land.
We were proud to attend as guests of the Houston Area Glass Association (HAGA), an organization dedicated to supporting and advancing the glass and glazing industry throughout the Houston area.
Although we were not actively recruiting, our goal was to educate students about the exciting opportunities available in the skilled trades especially in the glass and glazing industry.
We shared:
* What a professional glazier does
* How storefront, curtain wall, and architectural glass systems are installed
* The tools and safety equipment used on the job
* Career paths within the construction industry
* The value of hard work, leadership, and craftsmanship
It was inspiring to meet so many students who were curious, motivated, and eager to learn about careers that allow them to build the structures they see every day.
At Stratford Glass & Mirror, we strongly believe that the skilled trades offer outstanding opportunities for young people to build meaningful and financially rewarding careers.
