I was born and raised in Romania, and I came to America with my husband and our two little boys in 1990, just a few months before my daughter was born. We were blessed to finally escape the communist regime and start our new life in the free America. Since I was a little girl in Romania I loved working with my hands doing sewing, crocheting, and knitting. Soon I could create my own patterns and co

py almost any idea I saw. As a girl I made my own dolls out of cloth and recycled materials. I grew up with 6 brothers and eventually had two sons of my own; when my daughter was born I finally got to indulge my love of dolls and doll clothes. I loved making handmade outfits for each of my children – hats, slippers, and sweaters – and soon was making them for gifts as well. For years I've been known for making custom matching outfits for little girls and their American Dolls. My hands are always busy knitting doll and baby things for my Etsy store, including baby booties, cute hats, sweaters, and blankets. An unusual specialty I have in my shop is my special military line of custom scarves and hats, and even booties for babies of military families of all branches. My heart feels close to all military families because I have one son at West Point and one son at the US Naval Academy – so we’re a true Army/Navy family!
