10 years ago, i started this little business with a love for flowers and absolutely no idea where it would someday take me ♡

since then, flowers by jordan marie has grown into something that has allowed me to create for hundreds of couples across california — from intimate backyard weddings to full scale destination celebrations, candlelit receptions, mountain estates, coastal vows, and everything in between.

a few years into this journey, photography naturally became part of the story too — giving me another way to document and create alongside the weddings i’ve fallen so deeply in love with over the years.

this business has challenged me, shaped me, exhausted me, inspired me, and introduced me to some of the kindest people i’ve ever met. there have been countless early mornings, late nights, flower market runs, heavy installs, emotional reveals, and moments i’ll carry with me forever.

Set beneath the trees at Estate Yountville in Napa Valley, this day was layered with thoughtful details, garden-inspired florals, candlelight, colorful tablescapes, and disco ball moments that felt equal parts playful + refined.

Designing weddings like this — artful, romantic, texture-filled, and a little unexpected — will always have my heart. ♡

I knew the time would come eventually but I wasn’t and I’m still not ready to ever hold, kiss, or pet you again. I will cherish our time together for the rest of my life. I hope you’re running around with your soccer ball and waiting for me ♡ Thank you for teaching me how to be the best dog mom, you will forever and always be my 𝒻 𝒾 𝓇 𝓈 𝓉 love.

10 years of this little business of mine ♡
FBJM is something I’ve grown, learned from, cried over, been proud of, and poured my heart into for a long time now —this month marks 10 yrs, so I thought it was a good time to introduce myself.

Flowers kind of found me right after high school. I actually turned down the job at a grocery store, but my friend’s mom convinced me to call them back — & I’m so glad I did because I was eventually asked if I wanted to learn florals, and that part stuck. Within a year I became the floral manager and stayed there for 10 years. Toward the end of that time, I started my own business, finished my bachelor’s degree, and eventually took the leap to do this full time. Now here I am — 16 years of flowers, 10 years of owning my business, and 6 years of photography.
— When my clients see their flowers, I want it to feel like their vision came to life right in front of them, but even more beautiful than they imagined. When they see their photos, I want them to feel all the love and joy from their wedding day again — and feel beautiful.

Outside of weddings, I’m an outdoors person. I’d choose being barefoot in the grass over just about anything — add rain and I’m the happiest person on earth. Being out on open water will always feel special to me — some of my earliest memories are on a boat with my grandparents. Reggae music speaks to my soul, and dogs are my number one joy in life. My dream someday is to have a flower farm and a dog rescue.
— I think my style is a reflection of who I am — a little old soul, inspired by film, emotion, old architecture, pastel colors, and organic, airy flowers that feel soft and a little imperfect.

This job takes grit, long days, problem solving, and running a business that never turns off. I don’t do this alone — my assistant Jessica and my mom help keep this business moving. It takes a team and a lot of support.
