UPDATE:
2023 - So....its been a few years since I started this page, and life has happened. I've recently stepped away from a $70k/year paralegal career because it was killing my family. I didn't have time to be wife or mom. God very plainly tells us what our priorities are to be. Our relationship with our spouse is #2. I didn't have time for either one. So, changes had to be made. That being sai
d, I am bursting with untapped Culinary Creativity (because I haven't tapped into that side in about 4 years.) Thank you for checking out my page! Hi there! My name is Jennifer Putnam and I have a love for great food and a passion to share that with people! My family and I have been on a journey that can only be explained by saying God has been driving!
2013 is when this journey kicked into high gear, when my job at a telecommunications company of 6 years decided to outsource my department. This of course came as a shock since my job was our main source of income and insurance. But, God always has a plan! I enrolled in our local technical college for the Culinary Arts Program and by the Grace of God I had not missed the Fall start date for the new 2 year Culinary Program! Living on one income, with a 3 year old, and at times one car was a challenge to say the least, but God always provided. We were also very blessed to have an awesome church family that loved and supported us(Shout out to our Rockbridge Family!!!!!), without them things would have been very bleak. Then in 2014 we were led to Texas! We came to Austin for a week and my husband interviewed with several different heating and air companies. At the end of our week stay in Austin, my husband accepted a job offer, we made an offer on a house that was accepted, and we were back on the road to Georgia to pack up our house. Now, showing that God was driving this adventure, my husband and I did not have thousands of dollars saved for this large move nor did we have a laid out plan, we were seriously unprepared! But, in normal God fashion, he provided the funds we needed to make the move, as well as get things started here in Texas, we were totally amazed! And just to give us one more little surprise, we found out two days before getting on the road that I was pregnant.....
So that leads me to where I am today, reaching out to people to share this love and passion for food. Food has the ability to connect families, to improve health, as well as to bring simple joy to people! I hope I have the opportunity to share this with you!
