This is a feature in House Beautiful by well recognized designer Charlotte Moss. It just hit home for me. Even though we didn't have a lot of extra money, I was given the same opportunities with my own room at my home. I also saw my parents do work to improve and make us more comfortable in our small house as I grew up. There were nurtured african violets ( I think very popular in the 70's) inside and beautiful roses (mom's favorite) outside and always things clean and immaculately maintained. These are childhood memories that have shaped my life as it will any child. Bravo Charlotte, this article is spot on!

I've been so busy I forgot to tell you about the MODA Bathroom exhibit! It was short but very cool. It was more of an art installation using the bath as a subject matter. The best part of it was going with my friend Lori Cogan, and after going to the Mansion for cocktails.
