This chair was finished awhile ago but I hadn’t posted the pics. She’s a simple, sweet slip made from European linen. It drapes so well and was worth the client’s investment. Now it looks like a Restoration Hardware piece! Second swipe: then we put a 🐈‍⬛ on it. Have a great week everyone!

Just my style, lots of ties and oh-so European. This slipcovered Frenchie was featured in a 2017 Victorian Magazine feature on Baton Rouge designer, Beth Claybourn. Fav details are the well-designed knife pleats and split ties across the wood frame.

See that glorious floral fabric on the screen behind the bed? It is Indian Arbre by Schumacher. I came upon 9 yards at a thrift store - just wrapped around a bolt, on the bottom rack. The price? $3.99 for the entire 9 yards. The actual price? $220 per yard. Savings $1,976.00. What a find! Room design by John Oetgen.
