Yesterday we made a run into Tonopah to the doctor. Craig did something to his arm and the whole bicep is black and blue. So the ball is now rolling so he can be seen by a specialist. The next couple of days we will be going to Fallon for a scan. At least we are headed into spring so the roads should be good to travel. 🤪💪🩺🛻

The Road to the Horse is over and the guy(Buster) I wanted to win took second. Overall he did a really nice job but the guy who won did an amazing job. Craig has a couple of days off so I was back to cooking lunch. And today I woke up to this just when I thought spring might be here. 😢🧤🥶🥘

For the last 2 days I have been in front of the t.v. most of the day. The Road to the Horse started on Thursday at 6:00am here. These gentleman get 4 hrs total over 2 days to take an unbroken 3 or 4 year old c**t to a rideable state. They have to walk, trot, lope, back up, turn both directions, pick up all 4 feet, lead, mount and dismount. It was the wild card rounds and the winner was Buster McLuary. These gentleman was totally awesome. Now today and tomorrow Buster is joining 3 more people to do it all over again on a fresh set of c**ts to see who will win all the prizes. My fingers are crossed Buster can pull off another win. 🤞🐴🤠💵

These last couple of days have been great. Craig has gone to help a friend so I have the whole house to myself. I’m getting a lot of deep cleaning done and not having to cook. I could get use to this no cooking thing. 😂🛋️🛀🥘

Finished the last of my sister-in-laws patches yesterday and they are ready to be mailed. I have several more to make for another family member then on to other things. I have several things for the girls to make and I picked out a couple of things for me, I want to try. I think I will also look for some more patches, maybe something western. What do you think, what would you like to see? 🤔📬🤠💻

What a difference a couple of days makes. These last couple of days here makes me think it won’t be long till I will be walking outside. By afternoon the wind picks up a little bit, but a light jacket to feed the horses has been enough coat. Hopefully we didn’t get enough moisture that the w**ds will over run us this year. But I’m ready for them. The w**d killer is already in the shed just waiting to be mixed and sprayed. Enjoying the warmer days while we can. ☠️😂☀️😎

Yesterday we made a quick trip over to Eureka to the Country Cottage. They are putting away all the Christmas things and doing inventory. This is such a wonderful store and you couldn’t ask for more wonderful owners. Need a gift for someone you could find it there. They will be reopening their doors next month, so make plans to stop in and visit. 🥰🛍️🛻🤩

I still don’t feel any closer to having a deer patch with no wrinkles, I am not sure what to try next. I will diffidently have to read back thru my notes and see if there is a stabilizer combination I haven’t tried. But what I do have is a family brand one that I think the colors turned out pretty nice. I’m not a big purple fan but this may just change my mind. So cruising the internet may have paid off. 🤔💻🤩🎨
