We are in full beekeeper season! The hives are thriving and we went from 3 hives to 7 in just a few weeks. The girls have been working hard & their hives look beautiful! 🐝 🖤💛

Mom’s Day Gift Baskets ($27)! I did these for Christmas and have changed them up just a bit, for the better I think! Your Mom (or aunt, or sister or daughter) will receive a cute little basket with a 5oz jar of local wildflower honey, a lovely bar of milk & honey soap (only available with the baskets), a bamboo soap holder, a washcloth (pick your color or be surprised!), and some tea all wrapped up with a little bow!
Supplies and washcloth colors are limited. The photo shows all the colors currently available for the washcloths. I am not able to made-to-order washcloths at this time.

These are the BEST scrubs. And I’m not just saying that, the big jar in the photo came straight out of my shower and then went straight back in because this stuff is GOLD! I have 2 sizes, 9oz and 18oz glass jars. I’m offering 2 signature scents: Rise & Shine (orange, grapefruit, ylang ylang essential oils) and Honeybee (lavender & lemon essential oils, vanilla & honey fragrance oils—please note there is not actual honey in the scrub, just a fragrance).

Mother’s Day soaps! $7 each
I have a fresh batch of lovely soaps for mom (or for you!). These soaps are made with a blend of coconut, olive, and palm oil. They have great lather and make you feel fresh and clean without drying your skin or leaving a residue. Scroll through the photos for scents! Soaps can be mailed (starting at approximately $7 for shipping) or we’re happy to arrange delivery!

Spring is springing up at the BoeStead! I know I’ve been a little quiet on this page, but am definitely staying busy behind the scenes. The most exciting happenings are, of course, in the bee yard! The bees are rapidly growing! I added 2 new hives (purchased in the fall) and did a split from a hive that overwintered. We went from 3 to 6 hives in just a couple of weeks and I plan to do one more split next weekend. I also have a few goodies for Mother’s Day gifts I’ll be posting about soon! Stay tuned!

Making up some Mother’s Day soaps! We’ll have lavender, Bonsai (crisp & clean scent), PNW Forest, and Orange Dream (like a creamsicle!). Can’t wait to cut into these tonight to see how they turned out!

Prepping for the holidays with new products & soaps! Today I made Elderberry & Evergreen, Candy Cane Lane, Milk & Honey, and more Dirty Little Piggies (these ones without exfoliate). I did some experimenting and I’m SO excited to get these unmolded tomorrow. ❤️💚🤍

More fall soaps coming mid-November! It was a bit of a rough day, but I got some soap and at least it smells good!! We have Holiday Spice (blend of orange, cinnamon, clove & nutmeg), grapefruit & Earl gray (still needs a name, but it’s nice & flowery!), & Pumpkin Patch (my pumpkin purée & honey with notes of pumpkin, fig & autumn leaves).

Christmas soaps will be started in a couple weeks!

Beekeeping season is winding down! Since we don’t have a lot of plants blooming right now, we’re feeding the hives 2:1 sugar syrup to help them build up resources (comb, honey, & healthy brood) that will get them through the winter. On Friday, we did the first of 3 treatments for verroa mite (a common parasite to honeybees). Everything we do now helps our girls survive winter. Even the most experinced beekeeper can lose hives over winter. The more we can do to help them, the more we can continue to grow next year!! We’ve still got some checking to do, so keep following for more updates. 🐝
