🌿 From Elderberry Cutting to Beautiful Harvest! 🫐

It all starts with a cutting! Elderberries are fast-growing, productive shrubs that can become an amazing addition to an edible landscape. Watching a simple cutting develop into a mature plant loaded with clusters of berries is one of the best parts of growing your own. 🌱

Elderberries appreciate full sun to partial shade, plenty of moisture, and well-draining soil. As they mature, they produce clusters of delicate flowers followed by deep-colored berries that can be harvested and used in a variety of properly cooked recipes, including syrups, jams, and jellies.

🌿 Big Hosta Energy! 🌿

Starting with a hosta plug makes adding beautiful, established foliage to your garden incredibly easy. Because plugs already have a developed root system and plenty of leafy growth, they can settle into the garden quickly and continue filling out season after season. 💚

🌱 Easy Hosta Plug Planting Guide:
• Choose a spot with partial shade to shade
• Dig a hole slightly wider than the plug
• Plant at the same soil level it was previously growing
• Water thoroughly after planting
• Keep the soil consistently moist while the roots establish
• Add mulch around the plant to help retain moisture and keep roots cool

Hostas are perennial favorites that return year after year, gradually forming fuller clumps of gorgeous foliage. They’re perfect for shady garden beds, woodland gardens, borders, under trees, and those spots where sun-loving plants just aren’t happy. 🌿
