Beautiful sunset tonight...

The flowers have had a long hot week, mostly without me as I am recovering from the old carpal tunnel fix. Once my grip is working again, I'll catch up on new fall creations and sharing workshop offerings for the fall. I hope you'll join me!

But for now, I'm gonna just enjoy this moment in the motherland with my family.

One thing that has been a huge benefit for this year was being okay with some flowers going to seed last year. So I didn't get everything cut when I was supposed to. Okay. Bonus flowers for the next year. I let things go and have really loved seeing what comes from that lack of control.

With all the "rules" in the flower growing industry, I'm glad I opted for something that worked better for my life and health and stress levels. [That life is not for me, but if it's your life go for it!]

Summer is winding down. The flowers are still blooming, and I'm still drying them. But it's still crazy hot. Outside work hours are limited to early and late.

We're all eagerly awaiting the next season. School starting, fall, back to the grind.

Grateful to be back home after a few days away with the family!

I'll be spending the next few days catching up on harvesting and drying and starting the next round of seeds.
