This one is a quick one, don't blink!

I pugged then mom weighed 36 one pound balls of clay for a 9 person Mini Hike Wheel Trial Private Class Saturday then I centered them!

I only wish it took me under 30 seconds! It took me a lit over a half hour!

They had a great time! We have an 8 person private class this coming Saturday too!

So fun to see newbies try the wheel!

In year 4, we have not only expanded our studio but also received a grant from Main Street America and American Express that will continue to let us grow more!

We have purchased a second kiln with part of the grant funds, and this one has even more capacity! We could feel the growing
pains with just one.

In this reel you see the kiln and what we call kiln furniture aka the shelves and posts, being delivered!

What a dream come true! I was counting down the days! We received her in mid August and had to get electrical done and inspection.

I'm looking forward to firing my contribution of bowls to Ruff'ton Roots Community Garden Empty Bowls event!

EMPTY BOWLS is Back!!

This year we are moving locations to the First Baptist Church Fellowship Center on Main Street just down the road from us!

Expect the same beautiful celebration of local foods, local agriculture and local craftsmanship.

Each $50 ticket includes a handmade ceramic bowl, all you can eat soup, salad, bread and dessert dinner, and other opportunities to support this fundraiser towards the 2027 growing season!
