The fourth candle in The Specter and The Monsters collection:

A Home Within His Heart

In this final chapter, the monsters represent not literal claws or fangs lurking in the shadows, but the hidden facets of ourselves—shame, guilt, loneliness, fear, anger, sadness, and jealousy. Some are small and easily soothed, needing only a whispered reassurance or a gentle touch, while others are formidable beasts that roar from the deepest caverns of our soul.

Early in her journey, the Specter encounters the Shadow’s monsters—and instead of retreating, she smiles at them. At the heart of this tale is acceptance—a profound willingness to embrace our loved ones in their entirety, befriending the beasts that dwell within.

Love is a transformative force, illuminating hidden corners and casting a warm glow over our shadows. It is the acceptance that fosters healing—a gentle surrender to the power of partnership, where each shared scar becomes a thread in the fabric of an unbreakable bond. Together, The Specter and The Shadow create a sanctuary against the internal storms, a haven where love conquers darkness and fear.

Fragrant notes of pumpkin vines and ripe gourds embody the abundant harvest of love. Cozy hints of ginger, clove, and cinnamon summon cherished memories, rooting the scent in familiarity. Earthy patchouli and sandalwood whisper of timelessness, while ethereal musk highlights the vulnerability necessary in profound connection.

As the notes unfold, love triumphs over fear, transforming monsters into companions and shadows into light. The candle’s flames burn brightly—illuminating a path of acceptance, healing, and transformation.

The Specter and the Monsters launches in the Etsy shop tomorrow! I truly hope you all love it! ♥️

The third candle in The Specter and The Monsters collection.

A Love Song Amongst the Stones.

The Specter ventures into The Shadow’s graveyard, where once-vivid dreams now lie ensnarled between moss and memory. Here rests every version of The Shadow that has been outgrown.

There is the innocent boy, eyes wide with wonder, his aspirations flickering like fireflies—bright yet fleeting. Beside him lies the passionate artist, whose spirit burned too brightly, leaving behind unrecognized fragments of creativity and unvoiced works of heart.

Nearby is the brave warrior, who fought battles both within and without, yearning for honor yet left only with scars. Next to him rests the heartbroken lover, once filled with hope for forever, now haunted by the regret of vulnerability and longing—a testament to what could not endure.

Finally, the weary dreamer slumbers beneath the earth, his aspirations stifled by doubt and disillusionment, wandering in darkness.

As the Specter walks among the graves, she is enveloped by an atmospheric scent that invites her deeper into the rain-soaked graveyard. The fragrance opens with petrichor, notes of freshly turned earth, and murmurs of ancient moss.

She does not mourn; she sings.

In the distance, the horizon begins to pale, and The Shadow’s dark skies flicker with uncertainty. In her once-empty chest, a vibrant red heart returns, her features softening. By loving him into being, she is breathing life back into herself.

The Specter and The Monsters will release in the Etsy shop this Friday!

The second candle in The Specter and The Monsters collection.

Flowers in the Thicket.

The Specter explores where the path disappears. Into the brambles. Into the places left wild and untended. Here, The Shadow’s heart has grown thorns, but she does not clear the ground—she plants among it.

Petals unfurl where nothing soft has grown in a long time. She presses seeds into the soil with careful hands. She does not mind the past. She only tends to what might bloom now. But there are shapes in the undergrowth. Faint. Watching. The ghosts of those who came before her. They linger in the spaces between branches, half-glimpsed, half-remembered.

She does not turn away. She does not fear them. They are part of his landscape. And she is part of it now, too—glowing softly in the dark, planting flowers where thorns once ruled.

Flowers in the Thicket is a fragrance of quiet wonder.

The scent opens with orange blossom and ozone, capturing the fresh, cool air of a moonlit night. Tuberose and dahlia follow—blossoms blooming under the stars. Hints of melon and fig add a delicate sweetness, reflecting the Specter’s tender and careful nature. Finally, sandalwood grounds the fragrance, a reminder of the strength it takes to remain soft.

The overall impression is hushed and beautiful—flowers blooming in the most unlikely places.

The Specter and the Monsters set materializes in the Etsy shop on Friday!

Can I tell you a story?

In a world much like ours, a woman became a ghost, hollowed by love lost, moving through her days as a whisper of her former self. Then there was a man who became a shadow, pressed thin by the weight of his own grief. He navigated life as a silhouette, building walls around his heart— a labyrinth only he could traverse.

This is The Specter and The Monsters—a collection of candles that invites you into a poignant love story about two wounded souls meeting in the shadows and slowly beginning to heal one another.

It begins with Haunted Hallways. Our little Specter steps into The Shadow’s heart, guided by a flickering candle. Its flame cuts through the fog of forgotten memories, illuminating the corridors he has sealed off. She paces, she listens, and in the darkness, he starts to feel her presence.

The scent is sweet, smoky, and a little spooky. Blood orange burns like the flame she carries—muted, yet bright, guiding her through the unknown. Toasted vanilla and smoke summon her essence, an otherworldly sweetness that lingers where she passes. Charred birch wood conjures visions of stately halls and winding corridors, the architecture of a man who built walls around his heart. Black patchouli whispers secrets locked behind chamber doors, waiting for someone brave enough to open them.

This is a place touched by time, gently haunted by love.

The Specter and The Monsters will materialize in the Etsy shop this Friday.

Come. Light the candle. Step into the hallway. Let the story find you. 🕯️🖤

Burn #4 of October, and that full fiery fall sunset effect? Achieved. 🤩

I know I owe you The Specter and the Monsters photos—and don’t worry, they are coming this week. But when a burn looks like this, I can’t help but drop a little spooky season teaser. 🤍💛🧡

There’s something about the way the flame catches the wax when the light’s just right. Almost like it knows what’s creeping closer.

Less than a month until the fall candles officially release. If you need me, just… don’t. 😂 I’ll be in my lab, listening to spooky audiobooks, pouring candles for daaaayyysss. The longer the night, the better the batch? 🤷🏻‍♀️🙌🏻

So, will you Spooky Souls be able to wait until fall to light this one, or will you snag one to burn immediately and another for the season? 🎃👻🦇

Hey Spooky Souls! 👻 Just a heads up—the Etsy shop is going to take a short break. Spooky season is absolutely the best, but it takes a lot of time and energy to pull off. Since we’re almost at that point, this is my last chance to step away for a bit.

If you placed an order last week, the final summer candles are all packed, shipped, and on their way to you! 🙌🏻 Thanks again for your support—I’m so excited for you to get your candles and see the theme of the little goodies this time. So fun! 🏴‍☠️

The shop will be closed starting tomorrow (5/22) and will reopen on Saturday (5/30). I can’t wait to get back and get to work on all things fall!

There is a place inside all of us that no one visits. Either because we hide it away or lock it up. A hall of echoes. A thicket of thorns. A room at the end of a long, dark hallway where the door has been sealed for years.

This is a poem about what happens when someone finally opens that door. Not to fix what is broken. Not to silence what howls. But to step inside, barefoot, and stay.

It is a story told in fragments—a flicker of guiding candlelight, a flower blossoming amid a barren terrain, a love song sung among gravestones. It moves through landscapes of grief and silence, through winds that howl and fog that hides. But at its center is a simple, radical choice: to witness. To remain. To build a home not in spite of the darkness, but within it.

This is not a story about rescue. It is a poem about companionship. About what it means to hold space for someone else’s ghosts, to befriend their monsters. It’s about the slow, quiet work of loving a person exactly where they are—even when that place is a graveyard. And it asks a question that lingers long after the last line:

What would it mean for someone to love all of you—even the parts you’ve buried?

This is the story of the Specter and the Monsters. And it is waiting for you.

We don’t always remember how much fire used to shape our days. But when we light a candle, we step into a long rhythm. The same flame that cooked meals, told stories, and marked the hours is still here. It’s small. It’s simple. And it connects us to something much older than ourselves.

Across nearly every culture and tradition, fire has been seen as a bridge between worlds. In ancient Greece, the hearth fire was sacred to Hestia, goddess of home and family—a flame that was never allowed to go out. In Hindu rituals, fire (Agni) carries prayers from the earthly realm to the divine. In Celtic tradition, bonfires were lit at the turning points of the year to purify, protect, and mark the thinning of the veil, a liminal time between seasons. Fire was not just a tool. It was a messenger.

Mystically, fire is considered the only element that can transform matter. Wood becomes ash. Wax becomes light. Darkness becomes visible. It consumes, but it also purifies. Many spiritual traditions use flame for cleansing—burning herbs, candles, or written intentions—believing that fire has the power to release what no longer serves and to illuminate what was hidden.

Fire is also deeply tied to presence. It demands attention. You cannot look away from a flame for long. It flickers, shifts, and breathes. In meditation practices, the candle flame is often used as a focal point—a way to quiet the mind and anchor the self in the now. The same flame that once kept wolves at bay now keeps distraction at bay.

When you light a candle from our collection, you are not just lighting wax and wick. You are lighting a continuation of an ancient human act. You are holding a small piece of the element that has warmed, guided, and transformed us since the beginning. Let it remind you of the rituals we have forgotten. Let it pull you into the quiet. Let it serve as a reminder that the light of a candle, on a smaller scale, is a way for us to nurture our enduring relationship with the element of fire.

Getting new ink isn’t just a decision—it’s a ritual. A celebration of transformation. And yes, it deserves a candle. 🤘🏻

New Tattoo captures that electric post-appointment rush: sweet sugar crystals, dark cherries, and a fizzy spark that hits like the first buzz of the needle.

Tattooing is one of humanity’s oldest spiritual practices. The oldest known tattooed human—Ötzi the Iceman, dating back over 5,000 years—bore markings believed to serve therapeutic and spiritual purposes. Across Polynesia, Egypt, Japan, and Indigenous cultures worldwide, tattoos have marked rites of passage, protection, and connection to the divine. Every tattoo tells a story—not just of ink, but of intention.

Tattoos act as permanent anchors for intention. They mark moments of rebirth, resilience, or remembrance. New Tattoo honors that transformation—a small ritual to ground the energy of your new ink and celebrate the endurance it took to get it.

New Tattoo will be available in the Etsy shop tomorrow 5/15!
