Vacation was wonderful 💕 and the return to reality has me rather discombobulated 🤪

Arrangements are finally out this morning! The burgundy/peach/purple combo is my favorite of this bunch, but if you are still trying to hold onto summer there are flowers for that, too 😉

I’ll be harvesting more after the rain for Thursday porch flowers. And then prepping my first batch of pretty pumpkins for the market next Monday 🎉🧡🎃 Sneak peek of those perennial favorites coming soon!

This busy bee is waiting to board the 2nd flight of the morning, on the way to spend a few days at the ocean with friends 💕 I rarely take off like this during the growing season, but I am so looking forward to a few days away from flower responsibilities 😉

Before I left the house at 4am this morning I did put out the last available lisianthus bunches and a lovely vase arrangement. They will be out until a little before noon when my daughter brings them for the afternoon before she leaves for work. Next opportunity for flowers won’t be until Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Enjoy the holiday weekend!!

Happy September! It’s one of the busiest months of the year for this flower farmer florist, para-pro, and mom of a XC runner. But also probably my favorite as there is an abundance of flowers, the excitement of the new school year hasn’t worn off yet, and cross country meets are my favorite sporting events 🤗 Also, my Hoopla borrows renew, and I can continue my Emma M. Lion addiction…IYKYK 😂

Speaking of abundance, there is a plethora of flowers on the porch this morning! Vases leftover from yesterday’s market are already reduced. Plus, there are a dozen more wrapped lisianthus bunches up for grabs! I will be harvesting the last of them tonight so this week will be your only remaining chance for these bunches 🥲 so get them while you can!

A little bit of reassurance if you feared you missed out on the lisianthus this season…I have lots 😉

These long-lived beauties will be available in ALL the things tomorrow at the Thomas Township Farmers Market….wrapped bunches, mixed bouquets, and vase arrangements 💕

Despite my efforts to stretch out lisianthus season, they have all bloomed at once so this will be the only market I have them in abundance. Come see me tomorrow from 4-7pm at Roberts Park and grab some of these August beauties for your home!

A trio of quart jar arrangements and LOTS of lisianthus bunches are out this morning 🤗 A few more arrangements might be coming before I head out to harvest the rest of the first half of a beautiful late summer weekend.

At this point in the season I run low on vases and throw out a request for the return of any that you happen to have hanging out in your garage or basement…lonely but lovely vessels wishing to be filled again 💕 The vast majority of what I use are thrifted and gifted so that I can keep my arrangement pricing lower. So thank you in advance for helping me do that 😊

First day of school = more hectic than normal morning 🤪 I almost forgot to post the few market leftovers available on the porch!

If you are feeling fall-ish, there are a couple of moody gold/plum/burgundy beauties that even smell like fall with spicy cinnamon basil as the foliage.
