Before most projects get sewn together, some prep work needs to be done. This can be a bit time consuming, but worth it in the end as it gives your piece a much smoother, nicer finish. These mushroom squares are being blocked to ensure a nice, even finish.

After a crazy fall and winter work schedule, I’m happy to be enjoying these longer summer days with yarn. Prepping to stock different items at Half Mile Handmade in Bay City, crocheting stock to sell at Johnson’s Pumpkin Farm, and prepping for fall craft fairs.
