Sometimes I catch myself rushing through bedtime, hurrying to pick up all the toys, or wishing for just a second to myself. Then I see an outfit my little ones have outgrown, and I wish I could hold them at that size again. 🤍

A little reminder to slow down and notice the life happening right in front of me—even on the messy, exhausting days. It’s okay to need a break and still wish they wouldn’t grow so fast.

That’s part of why making keepsakes means so much to me. Those clothes hold stories from days we didn’t know we’d miss.

Amina’s photograph, surrounded by patchwork made from clothing she once wore. Pieces of her life, lovingly stitched together for her family to hold close. 🤍

What began with one memory pillow, has now become eight. I’m also finishing two quilts and two loveys from Amina’s clothing, with the loveys made especially for her sisters.

There is so much love behind this collection. My hope is that each keepsake offers a little comfort—a familiar piece of Amina to hold through the moments they miss her most.

Finally get the kids to bed, sit down to sew, and put Netflix on to keep me company… as if I wasn’t already tired enough 😂😴 The motivation was there, my eyes just had other plans.

Introducing Notes Between the Stitches 🤍🪡

A little space where I can share pieces of my heart, motherhood, family, the beautiful chaos of life, and the meaning behind what I create.

When I started Quilt for Keeps, I never imagined how much this little business would mean to me.

What began with wanting to preserve my own children’s tiny clothes has grown into something so much more.

As a mama of four, I know firsthand how quickly the days turn into years. The little outfits, the favorite pajamas, the pieces we just can’t bring ourselves to part with… they hold so much more than we realize.

And being trusted to turn those pieces into something families can hold close for years to come is something I’ll never take for granted.

Because to me, it’s never been just about sewing.

It’s about the memories, the people, the love, and the stories stitched into every piece.

Thank you for being here and allowing me to share a little more of my heart with you. 🤍

Apparently sewing and quilting is my personality now 😂🧵

But honestly… this is exactly how I feel when I tell people I sew 😂 like yes, I quilt, I sew, I embroider… and I’m way too excited about all of it 🤣— wouldn’t change it for the world!
