How inviting does this look? The Chapel on the Green sure makes a pretty picture.

Fun fact: it’s not a functioning church with a congregation. It’s actually a preserved historical site that now celebrates weddings. You can have any kind of officiant perform your ceremony.

I can’t wait any longer! I have to post these film scans from my styled shoot with and 🥰

You’ll remember Katie from the famous Baking Co! After closing the bakery location in St. Charles, Katie’s taken on a myriad of projects including promotion of this gorgeous historic ceremony venue in Yorkville, The Chapel on Green!

Katie needed some new pics to showcase the space for a new website and asked if I’d consider a styled shoot… so I grabbed and together the three of us conjured up this magic.

Our models, former clients of Katie’s, Tanya and Austin were absolutely perfect and so fun to work with.

I’m gonna throw it back a bit here to this day TWO YEARS AGO when the world was changing rapidly. We didn’t know what exactly would happen or how to predict the future, but we knew that we would have to adapt.

As a business owner in the event industry, all I saw were cancellations and postponements… and no income in sight. Just stress. Like STRESS.

So we all started to turn to calming activities as we pivoted our lives. And somehow these absolutely amazing anemone ended up in my hands, that inspired my first paint by numbers kit!

To anyone who bought one, you saved the business that week. And it was a week by week basis, for sure!!

Thank you, thank you. Look where we are now…

Ok, well, The Local Petaler is doing much better at least 😭

2022 BOOKING ANNOUNCEMENT!

Remember the last time I posted this and I had misspelled “Announcement”? Got it right this time!! 😂

I am well past my goal for 2022 bookings, but because I’m a crazy person, I’m hesitant to officially close the books because I do have a few remaining weekends available. I’ll only book maybe 2 more so I can get a bit of rest in, but my availability is on the next slide.

Florist friends, let me know if you could use my help any of those weekends too! You know I love to freelance 😏

Also, NOW IS THE TIME TO BOOK YOUR 2023 WEDDING VENDORS!! We’re in our slow production season, so it’s the perfect time to get the ball rolling on proposals!! Don’t hesitate to reach out!
