The St. Cloud COP House at 10-10 Park serves as a key community hub on St. Cloud’s southeast side, supporting youth programming, tutoring, food access, and family-centered resources.

As one of two Community Outposts in the city, the existing building was renovated and updated to better reflect the atmosphere and renewed energy of the surrounding park and neighborhood, creating a welcoming space for youth activities, family support, and community connection.

HMA Architects is excited to partner with BCI Construction, Inc. and the Wirth Center for the Performing Arts on their new, expanded home in the historic Daniel Building in downtown St. Cloud. This approximately 22,500 SF, multi-phase renovation will create a dynamic and inclusive arts destination designed to support performance, education, and creative collaboration.

The project will feature a new performance and event space, music and art resources including a recording studio, dance and fitness hall, spaces for music therapy, early childhood programs, private lessons, and more. Each phase builds toward a cohesive facility that strengthens access to the arts while celebrating creativity in all its forms.

Its time for another !

A look back at a project that brings Husky pride to life. HMA Architects was proud to be part of the major addition and renovation of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, creating a dynamic south gateway to St. Cloud State University.

Completed in 2013, this transformation elevated the facility into a modern home for one of Minnesota’s most passionate hockey programs. The project expanded the concourse and enhanced concessions, restrooms, locker rooms, corporate suites, and offices, improving both the fan experience and athlete support spaces.

Designed to meet Minnesota B3 sustainability guidelines, the renovation reflects a commitment to high-performance design while honoring the legacy of Herb Brooks and the generations of Huskies who have taken the ice.

We were honored to attend the ribbon cutting for Pierce Insurance in St. Joseph, MN to see their newly remodeled space come to life. This project transformed a former dental office into a sleek, unique workplace tailored to Pierce’s team and the clients they serve. The design balances a measured, professional atmosphere with subtle upscale touches, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the quality and care behind their work.

A fun bit of history: the building itself was originally designed by HMA Architects near our firm’s inception in 1988. Being part of its next chapter made this renovation a special full circle moment for our team.

🏅With the 2026 Winter Olympics officially wrapped up, we decided to bring a little Olympic spirit into the HMA office.

Our 'HMA Office Olympics' featured a variety of competitions that tested precision, creativity, focus, and a steady hand. After some close matchups and plenty of friendly rivalry, we crowned our medalists. Congrats to our winners!

Providers and patients are now settling into the newly completed Sauk Crossing addition in Sartell, marking an important milestone for both the community and our team at HMA Architects.

Designed to support CentraCare’s growing imaging and family clinic services, the three-story addition integrates patient check-in, laboratory services, School of Imaging, leadership and staff areas, family practice suites, nurse stations, exam and procedure rooms, and essential patient support spaces into a cohesive, sensible, functional, and forward-thinking environment.

Natural light, intuitive way finding, and generous clinical work areas were central to the design approach. These elements enhance patient comfort, elevate quality of care, and contribute to long-term staff wellbeing and retention. Every space is shaped around clarity, efficiency, and the human experience of healthcare.

We extend our appreciation to RJM Construction for their partnership and craftsmanship in bringing this project to life.
